Oh Rosa, he got you to sign papers that put you in a bad spot.I guess you already figured out that signing those custody papers wasn't good. Well it's been a few months since you wrote this. So tell us, did you get some legal help? The right lawyer should be able to help you out with this.

I am so sorry to hear that. I was really hoping that after all this time that the problem would of been resolved. Your ex is clearly playing head-games with you and using the system to his advantage. I hope you get this all straightened out and soon. My prayers and thoughts will be with you.

Since he is in another country I am not sure because I don't know what the laws are in that country, but I am sure if he is not paying what he is supposed to be paying yet he is claiming on his taxes that he is you could certainly report him. In America if a father or mother is not paying the amount of child support that the court appointed them to pay you could go to court and have the money taken right out of his check. This is called a wage garnishment. But since your son's father is in another country I am not sure what the laws are there, but what he is doing is illegal.

In my country you can file for a support claim in court. YOu don't have to worry about the lawyer's fee because there's a public attorney's office that won't ask for a single centavo from you. If you are living in my country i would advice you to bring the matter to court. IN that case you get a fair amount of parental support from the father of your son.
He's such an irresponsible father and you're a great mom for raising your son alone.

Thanks mylotter but one year ago he was pushing me to give the custody to him because he wanted to change the passport of my son to american one after asked me that and me saying not he told that he will sign a contract where he will back the custody of my son after he change the passport becauses the authorities of US says that have to be the one with the custody that can take the child to become a citizen, well at the end I gave him the custody with the compromise that he will give back the custody, but is was a year ago, and he hasn't give me back the custody, now I live here in US with my son but he threatened me telling me that he will acusse me of kippnaper and I will go to jail because he has the custody and I dont. Well what I am going to do is try to find a lawyer that can help me. Thanks.

if your son is still minor you can ask for support from his father. i think you have to consult a lawyer for this matter. I guess we have the same laws when it comes to children's support. I have a cousin who is married to a divorced british, the man supported his child during his previous marriage until the latter reaches 18 years old. Whenever there was a delay on the monthly obligation of the man, the government will send a demand letter immediately. So there is no month wherein he gave his child the required amount for support.

Ohhh.. That is too bad.. I think, you can consult a legal counsel in order for you to be able to demand a financial support for your child.
I hope you could resolve this problem of yours as soon as possible. His father is such an irresponsible one.
