Wow! I'm happy for you.. I wanted to go to singapore too.. Someday, I will be able to visit the places I wanted too..
Well, with regards to your question, I'm sorry but I don't have any idea about it since I have never been to that place.
Anyway, I wish you a safe flight.. God bless and enjoy! :)

Hello Grace. I have been to Singapore a few times. A beautiful city in Southeast Asia region, very much like Manila, of course. Many places to see. Many nice shopping malls to buy things too. Try Lucky Plaza and Peninsular Plaza, many cheap things, nice souvenirs.
Have a nice trip !

Hi Grace!
First place I would suggest is Sentosa! It's a great place, you'll see a lot of nice views there. And be sure to ride the cable car! It's an experience you shouldn't miss! And at night, you should go to Marina Bay, see the Esplanade. The views there are awesome because of the lights.
If you want to buy cheap souvenirs, then you should go to Chinatown. There's a lot of super cheap items there and I mean super cheap! Cheaper than the items in Bugis street and anywhere else. You'll find a lot of different kinds of souvenirs there. From key chains to clothes to home decors, etcetera.
I think 500 singapore dollars would be enough as pocket money. At least that's enough for me.
Have fun!!!

I have traveled to Singapore three times in my life so far. I loved seeing its harbor and on Sunday I went to a cafe to see the birds plus listen to their singing. I liked shopping for souvenirs. I enjoyed visiting Sentosa the man made island and had much fun over there. On my last trip over there I liked going to see the national park. There I did some walking and had a picnic. There was a notice saying not to feed the monkeys. Photography stuff and electronic goods were a bargain. Have an excellent time.

I must say that 3 days is not enough to explore Singapore. But to get the most of your stay, I suggest that you go to Sentosa. Preferably on Day 2. A whole day should be devoted to Sentosa because there are lots of attractions there. Visit Sentosa's website http://www.sentosa.com.sg/ so that you could at least plan in advance. Also available in the website are the entrance fee of the attractions (some are free) for you to have an idea how much budget. Another option for Day 2 is to go to Universal Studios instead of Sentosa. But Universal Studios get very crowdy during weekends, and the merchandise are really expensive.
If you will arrive to Singapore in the morning or lunch time, you could go to the Night Safari on Day 1. If I remember it right, the tour bus to the Night Safari leaves around 6pm.
Enjoy.
