What's your favorite on board game you like to play as your pass time hobby, Mylotters? Is it Scrabble, Monopoly, Mahjong, English or Chinese Chess, or others that i don't know about. I personally like to play Monopoly and Scrabble whenever i have plenty of free time on hand with my friend, we can sit down with a couple of cold beer and chill out at the same time get to work on our little brain in a relaxing manner with both games. Let's talk about your favorite game now.

Without a doubt I would say Monopoly! It is a great game and you never get too old to play it. The best part in my mind is that it takes up a lot of time, so you are always going to be able to kill time playing it. On the other hand, the game is fun enough where you can play for a few hours and not even notice the time passing. No two games are ever alike so that adds another element of fun to the game.

I prefer Chess, English Chess (as I don't really know about what Chinese Chess is, hehe).
As for me, beside fun, it may sharpening my brain, lol.
But I usually play it online, so I can play it on anytime, no need to ask my friend first when I want to play :P

Hi, Varier! Chinese chess is about the same as English chess in certain respect, in the way that both are like practising your mind in applying 'strategy' to capture the 'king' or 'Queen of your opponent, it is like a 'war' game in paper. There are foot soldiers, Colonel, Captain and General for you to kill before you get to the king, then only you can 'checkmate', the side that can capture the king sooner is the winner. It is a bit different than English chess in the battle ground layout and nuber of movement you can make, English chess is more complicated in my personal opinion.
