Silent Hill

I've watched this movie before and I think it sucks. I'd rather play the game than watch this movie. It has great graphics, though, so that's a plus for me.

Based on first hand primarily on visual and auditory background and only the script (though smart enough and well structured), Silent Hill manages to impress with a strong and unique story. With a strange setting, gray and cold as a mother seeks desperate daughter (who had visions about the place called Silent Hill) and episodic characters of another realmthe movie keeps the viewer in voltage, showing qualities that raise it above the horror common site. Prayer scene in the mid movie is exceptional. In the second part, the story is complicated scenario becomes a kind of hallucinatory, fantastic in its Kafkaesque way of faith, man, God and devil. The movie has a moral - when the man believed to be error-free trial, can deliver the most terrible monsters. But it is a terrifying film you do not recommend those unfamiliar with the horror genre. End is logical after all the action going.

I do have to admit that I did find Silent Hill kind of creepy to say the very least. I think that it's just the sort of movie that can put you on edge.

yeah its consider many many years old movie..but its pretty scary.. based on a video game u didnt know..the game itself is also scary to play.. i reccomend the new scariest movie ever for 2011 to come in ages.. INSIDIOUS..

It was really a scary movie for me especially since there are still rumors of haunted provinces in our country even in the age of the internet and computers. Speaking of haunted places movie, I also saw R Point which was another horror movie about a haunted place, it pars with Silent Hill when it comes to the atmosphere of the film. Silent Hill is based on the game with the same title, that game is also really scary as well when you play it.

I personally loved it. One of the scariest movies I've seen in quite awhile. I also like saw. At least the first one was a trip :)

i am not going to watch the movie silent hill, but i play this on PS. its scary already so i wont watch it. har har har. i am not a fan of scary and horror movies. i would rather watch comedy of action. but i guess in this movie this house are not really haunted but because of how it was made and how movies are good already in putting effects it will all make the watchers feel it is all haunted.

Hi catof1, I have seen this movie, I have to see it again because right now I am getting it confused with the Hill Has Eyes. I think I have this movie in my movie collections. I have been telling myself that I should stay away from satanic movies.

I have only played the game called Silent Hill and it was so horrible.

i think that is a crazy movie... if i was ever invited into a house like that that had a dark past... i would never set foot on the grounds
