Emails read before our sending

Yes. I had an interesting experience with gmail. I was sending some mail to my another email id as a test measure to find out whether pictures are saved properly in the file. So I typed in the mail :"I am attaching the above file." and then decided it need not be sent so I just pressed send.
Immediately I had a note " You have stated you are attaching. But u have not attached the file..." I was thrilled and surprised.
So friends let us be aware that emails read themselves even before they are born --so even if u write love letter or hate letter be aware that computer can read automatically--it means people who are manning it can read it.
This is good in one way --if it can be done in such a way that social interests are safe guarded.
I thought I should share this with you so that u can also give ur experiences.

Yes, it can be funt to send e-mails to your other e-mail addresses. I do that when I've open up a new account for an e-mail address to see if everything is working out well. As for someitmes when I recieve photos or other attached files i can not open them in one e-mail account I forward it to another of my accounts.

Oh yes all or shall I say most email software programs are designed in a way that if we say attach, and or have no subject line it will/should alert us that something is missing.
I don't think it is read manually unless of course something was being reviewed for validity and or legality purposes.

Hi ravisian: I have a gmail account and this has happened to me once. The page detect what you write so it remembers you to attatch a file when you mention this on your email. I find it a very useful tool, isn't it?

Wow! sir nice discussion. But I think this is not possible how computer can give message your mail is not attached. But you are right some time we are write in the letter I am attaching a file but when this mail received someone they respond on the letter you attachment is not received so email should be read before sending.

Yes, I know everything we type is read the second we start typing. I find it sad that the world has to be put under a microscope by the computer nerds. (No harm intended) I like the computer too. But I don't think everything we do needs to be scrutinized by someone. They need to be watch active that is not normal. Ties to terrorist sites, people looking up deadly chemical, etc. I think this would benefit us a lot more then worrying if someone forgot to attach a file or not. Best Wishes!

yes,. that is what i have in mind. the software is not taking care of such dangerous mails from terrorists and bogus phishing mails. then what is the use of such software. software engineers should work more to take care of phishing mails and dangerous emails also. I dont know how. but it is required.

Thanks for sharing; I would like to check it, if it works for me as well.
This is an innovative idea and this feature can be helpful, and it can remind us of our mistakes.
In software terms It looks like a client side verification, and the information is being verified before sending to server.

The soft ware engineers while designing the software take all necessary precautions. In some cases after porting the soft ware, they improve the software. So, in this way the soft ware is designed to meet all requirements. The soft ware engineers are paid more because of this.
Metal, electricity, human brain make this wonders.

The e-mails aren't nessarrally being "read", as the system determines weather or not there is something wrong with an e-mail. Just like in your above example... when you send something like a picture, it tries to upload the picture to the server. If it doesn't detect anything it'll let you know. So in a sense that's what it's feeling like, but the e-mails aren't being read as they are being scanned by your computer looking for what it needs to send the file. No personal information is being stored on gmail servers and that includes files you send. It uploads them yes, but once that's done it's gone.
