Have you noticed that mylot has changed a lot through the years?

Hi marguicha yes I think we are doing better now. I have looked back at some of my old discussions and to me they did not seem of the same quality as ones I have made now . I think when I first came here I was too hurried and into counting posts which really defeated my desire to make some earnings. so when I relaxed and quit counting anything and just began enjoying myself I tripled my earnings. I have only been here four years as I was out for 11 months. but I have seen that we are making better and more interesting discussions now than in the first year I was here.I think that with some of the new rules mylot instigated over the past several years we are really making much more interesting and better discussions too. so heres to many more years for our great Mylot.

After reading what you had mentioned here, i searched back those very old discussions and found there are indeed some improvements now in Mylot. Those old discussions seems not many of them sounds interesting since the responders mostly replied with only 1 line answer. Now, i had seen that we are making much better and more interesting discussions. In fact, i think after Mylot had implemented some new rules, members started to learn contributing more quality and interesting discussions in here. I am also happy to be able to make many new friends after had been in Mylot for 3 years. Not forgetting, i had learned a lot through Mylot, too.

At one point the discussions on the 'no responses' tab were reversed, oldest to newest. There were some incredibly silly ones. "Where do I find a job doing x" and that sort of thing. Yep, the site has definitely evolved, some for the better and some not. The "not" is that some of my favorite people don't come here any more...

i agree with you margz. for four years of being a member, i see a lot of improvement with the way members are posting. i see less one liners now and even plagiarism is not too noticeable these days.

Well I don't really check up on my old discussions but I certainly feel that the standard here has improved a lot. Mylot is changing with time and sometimes I feel it's kind of futuristic. One example is that when it's earnings day, the logo changes color, I feel that's interesting! But overall, Mylot is improving and becoming better and I also hope that more people will join this fun site.

Hi marguicha! Sorry for my delay response as I was away for 2 1/2 weeks and with no internet connection in Arkansas. I can only speak of a bit over a year as that is how long I have been a member here. I have noticed things a bit different from my earlier days and I find a lot of positive changes from then to now. Maybe it has to do with our new GAA, not sure as I did not have any interactions with Alice. At any rate yes I find a lot of the discussions interests have improved from my earlier days and some not so slack like before.

I can only agree with you on that. I am shock too, it sure look like many of the discussions are fresh from copy-paste technique, obviously it is widely practiced here. Some members can post twenty discussion in a row in just a day, it is so cool!! Not many interesting discussion around lately, it is mainly repeat topic.

I haven’t looked up at old posts for a while and I may do that now because it would be fun to read what members here posted back then. I do agree that the quality of the discussions has improved and MyLot admin are a stricter when it comes to breaking the rules which is good to see. I still enjoy it here a lot.

I've never gone back to check, but that a really interesting observation. Do you think that the many friendships that have formed here is partly a reason? Or, do you think that the fact that myLot has been around for a while, that people are just more confident that time spent is worth it?

Yes, i have noticed and changes are here.... some are bad and some are good. But specially, i have improved my english here to some extend. have a nice day.

Yes friend I noticed it mylot is day by day increasing good quality post and interesting post because here all members are getting new experience. When I see my old discussion in which my English is very poor and topic is also not interested and responses is also not received more. But I am trying to improve my English and I hope I will success in it. I not like my old post discussion but now I like my new post discussion such as I covered 25% news discussion which latest and recent news. like 16 pounds baby, 34 fingers born baby, new decision in mumbai attack etc.

I'm new if I would compare myself with you friend so my basis of comparison is limited as such, well if that's your observation and indeed quality of posts have upgraded then I should be happy for all of us, and we all should be happy,. Anything improves with age and experience? It could also be good filtering throughout the years, who knows

Hello marguicha, I cannot say this because i am 3 months old here on MYLOT but in these 3 months i have been observing changes that lot of newbies are coming to MYLOT and starting straight away with some interesting discussions. Whenever i get a time i do check old discussions and found that MYLOT really has changed a lot.Hope we will make it more interesting.These changes are good for MYLOT as it do attract people and making it more popular.

I am new to mylot and i have not checked the old discussions yet. I think copy paste is not allowed now or to the new members. I have read some of the topics now and you are right, they are kinda interesting. I hope i could also earn from this site like you guys have. ;-)

I don't really know about that coz I have been here merely for 5 months now. But I can say that there are many interesting and eye catching discussions popping here day by day. It's simply wonderful getting to share what's inside the head

I am relatively new to myLot so I cannot comment on that.However I can certainly say that some discussions are certainly wonderful. Also a lot of members are well informed and can be a wonderful help. Cheers.
