India will not win a single test ?

Hi siliguri! tum ne to khani suna hi hoga gidar wala english log wahi hai 2 match kya jeet liya apne ko seer samjh rahe hai ha......unki aukat kya hai wo jab 5-0 se har te hai tab pata lag jata hai..... sorry for the rude word but fact is fact.

Well Englishmen are high on sucess these days hence these statements,no need to go too much into it.If we look at the pitches so far they are quite sporty and result oriented pitches so i dont think any match will end up in a draw in this series.The reason India is not doing well since WI is they are playing too slow and when the second new ball comes they are not well prepared to face it.In past India did well as they always made around 270 to 300 runs in first 80 overs, hence the pressure was gone, like if for example you are 280 for 5 in 80 overs and second new ball comes even if last 5 players add 100 odd runs you are looking at a good score of 380.The technique of Indian batsman cant change overnight, Raina ,Yuvi ,Dhoni cant bat like Dravid and Laxman in a week's time.I am surprised that why India is not following their old strategy which took them to no 1, players like Dravid ,Laxman and Gambhir used to hold one end while all other players used to play attacking cricket.If you see the trend since WI, India is playing 90 or 100 overs regularly still they are getting out under 300 which is not enough.Yuvi and Raina tried to copy Dravid and Laxman , that is to play out the whole over but they cant survive doing that, its better to take a single and get off strike.Here is why people are making fuss about return of Sehwag , he used to play fast at the start to bat India out of trouble with excellent run rate.So its better that India should start playing attacking cricket if they want to compete in the series.Duke ball will swing for 25 to 30 overs,it always does, but if you survive that, you have to make runs for rest of 50 odd overs with run rate of 3.5 to 4,and there is no reason you cant do it on fast outfields of English grounds.Someone send the DVD of old matches to Indian team, i wonder what Fletcher is doing,Dhoni should call Gary and he will tell him how Indians used to play in the past 5 years.

I think probably India may win a test and draw another. Even if they draw the next two tests, that would be a great improvement. Series draw...I don't have the hope.

I am also thinking that when Indian players will learn to play swings and short balls. It doesn't matter much that Indian bowlers cannot reduce the English batsmen and prevent them scoring much runs. Only they succeeded in the 1st innings in the second test. Whatever, apart from Rahul Dravid none seems to know how to play and build innings in this conditions. V.V.S. Laxman is also feeling uneasy here. Sachin Tendulkar seems got a little rhythm and touch in the second innings of the second test. He could not save the match but could try to stay for longer periods with Harbhajan Singh. Whatever, if Virender Sehwag and make in the XI, along with Zaheer Khan and Gautam Gambhir I hope India will produce better result than the last two test match. Cannot bet that India will win after seeing such horrible result but predict they will not be disappointed like this. I want Yuvraj Singh instead of Raina and in the bowling Zaheer, Praveen and Ishant is fine. Harbhajan will be the lone spinner, though he could not make any impact till date. Hoping for something different. Openers will be Sehwag and Gambhir and Rahul, Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Laxman and Dhoni will will be the middle order batsmen. Hope this can change the fate little bit. It can be possible for the Indian team to draw the series winning the remaining two tests but it needs luck. Anyway, best wishes to the Indian team.

India has lost two matches and that is why u are angry. I can understand that. But I wish and pray India will win the other test matches to come. Yes. Indian will win. They will learn from their experience.

Well, he might be on cloud 9 after they have won two straight tests. Let him be on the same cloud till the next test starts in a week. The x-factor here for the English team is the absence of our regular openers and the bowling spearhead: Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer. Hopefully, the Indian team will be of its full strength for the next assignment. Our aim should be to win the remainder of the series so that we can draw it, it certainly is a tough task but will be happy if we win one and draw the other. Dhoni should be confident of his batting and should try to spend some time in the middle instead of going for hitting from the very first ball. Sachin has all the pressure on his shoulders and people have made him think only about his 100th hundred and hence he is not able to deliver enough as required. I am sure if he does not have the intention or pressure to score hundred in each of his innings, he will reach the landmark and also help the team to propel. Secondly, the bench does not offer the resistance when our key players are injured. the team management should be worried for picking up the right players who are really good at handling the pressures at the International level. The coach should be looking at this factor and hunt for the better players who can try to replace the likes of Sachin, Dravid and Laxman when they all call it a day. Our focus should be on the team that performs well in the absence of the seniors...Team, please find the new players who can really do well..

According to performance of india in these tests , we can't believe india team more.But indian team is more stronger after joining of sehwage and gambir. india batting is a being major collapse. But they are capable of doing what they really want

I think India should win at least one match because now it’s a question of their prestige. But situations are very worst for Indian team because they have already lost 2 matches. And now chances are very tuff because it is very difficult to win last 2 matches for draw this series. I think now everyone’s eyes on Indian team because now it’s a question of number one position which is near to loose if next test match lost by India. But we hope that now our Indian team come back and give good answers to English.

Gream Hick should buy a bottle of Vaseline, his dad has arrived there. Yes, India has not performed as expected but I am sure the results will be different in the third and fourth test. I can bet there will be at least a century (If not a double or triple century) from Sehwag in next four innings. Fourth test will be very tough for England because till that time, Gambhir and Zaheer both will be included in the team.

Hi siliguri, It is not something great or out of the way that Graeme Hick has predicted. It is just the normal and in line with the present scenario. If he had predicted that India is going to win the remaining two tests and draw the series, it would have been something to be given attention to. The way India played in 2 tests particularly in the second surrendering the total advantage they had gained in the initial stages of the match anybody will predict what hick has predicted it does not require a great expert. But I am confident India, reinforced by the inclusion of Sehwag (?), Gambhir and Zaheer is going to bounce back and win at least one test and manage to salvage their No.1 position in test ranking. India plays their best when they are drawn to the wall and the experts wright them off.

thats very much like any english man wat else can u expect.and we all know wat kind of player grame hick himself was during his days.he was nothing more than a boring batsman to watch who will hang around the whole day with the bat in his hand and block the ball.he will not understand wat it is like winning the match and becoming the number 1 team in the world so let him talk the talk indian cricket team will walk the talk.

India are not doing justice to their number one status and based on the current series I dont think anyone will expect India to win. Even after having a chance in the second match not once but on two ocassions they let the game get away from them and paid the price for doing so. The result two horibble defeats. India needs to get the act together and play good cricket rather than wait and let things happen. India has been burdened with injurys and to add to their worries Harbhajan and Yuvraj have also headed back. It could not have got worse for India and Dhoni. They will have to work out some magic and grab hold of every opportunity that comes their way..

Hope,India will win.We saw it in south africa tour also.We know how to come back in a series like a hero.Shewag and Zaheer is hopefully coming back and this is our plus point to attack english team and roars once again an proves that we are simply the best.Sachin is waiting to score a great innings. You told about English media and they are always like this.Do not bother about their comment,cause they want to break Indian down mentally and thats why they told this way. Do not worry and hope for the best.Cause Team India is the number 1
