You know it happens in the movies, the guy and girl can't be together where they are, so they run away to be with each other forever. I've had this offer twice in my life. I never took it, and I don't regret it, but sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I did. Has anyone ran away to be with the one they love? And how did it turn out?

Wow you must be very pretty :-) But you did the right thing not running away with them. They can ask you in a proper way if they have a good intention. And you can have a better life if you go with the proper way of being with someone.

Lol I don't think I'm that pretty, Im just fun to be around and very caring. One guy did ask me to marry him and the day he went to get the ring I said I couldn't. He was a really good guy, but I had complete control over him and I didn't really like that. I want someone to be their own person, not jump off a bridge just cuz I said to do it.

i also had this offer when i was still young but then i also did not take it. I was afraid of life without my parents although i was independent and already working. I do not want to disgrace and make my parents heartbroken and i thought that if the guy really loves me then he would ask my parents nicely to get me.

Dont run away i tell you. Many cases when they run away the women will be at lost. Even if the women has the money at the end of the day she still wants the man to be the provider. After running away then you will found out there is always something that been overlooked. When you have a family do you want to tell your children that you ve run away and then you waant to tell your children its all right to run away?

Nope I haven't run away with my love nor have I ever been asked to though hehe!! Anyway I think there is a 50-50 chance that it'll work. We had this senior in our school and she got married right after high school even though her parents were against it. She has a baby now and is very happy with the family she has now. It worked for her but anyway I have heard many failed stories too.
