This is the first time i heard someone say the 'great' cancer. Cancer is deadly and hard to cure, it can wreck havoc in a person life and physical well-being, it probably is everything except 'great', by adding killer after great may sound more acceptable to me.

Signals signal Cancer, there is not the slightest doubt of it. Its entirely possible that everyone has cancer, but that it only goes on the develop into a disease in a few. It may spread, and of course it may not. My biggest worry - if a cure is ever found (it already has) it may be swept under the rug, because the Millions of Dollars raised each year to find a cure pays the salaries of thousands, who have cushy jobs, and who would be otherwise out of work.
