I don't usually make plans for the day. I find that things will change, and sometimes will prevent me from being able to achieve them. I will sometimes make a list of one or two things I need to accomplish, but I'm not going to plan my entire day, or anything like that.

in my opinion, plan is a long-term goal, list is a short-term goal, anyway setting a goal before we do everything is a good habbit, which will make us achieve the goals easier, right?

I used to do it, when I was working on my first ever job after I graduated from college. During my first few days on that job, everything was just haywire, as I was torn between college hangover, the new responsibilities appointed to me, the list of accounts I had to handle, the training for that job, and not to mention the adjustment of accepting the fact that I'm already a working guy. So one day I tried to list down the activities for the day, the goals that I have to accomplish per day, week and month. After that, everything worked smoother. I'm not saying that the workload got easier - of course it's still tiring, but I got to do things better.

Yes, I almost have plan for the day in advance. As I am a Vet working on the farm, I have a routine of work and fixed schedules to attend. Apart from these professional activities, if we want to go out for say for shopping or outing we need to plan it in advance so that I can have some reliever in my place , so you can say that my day's programme is fixed and planned in advance.
But then having planned so meticulously because of some unavoidable circumstances, like if I get any emergency case which is not an uncommon feature, my all plans go waste! I recall to have cancelled my family programme at the eleventh hour because of such unexpected emergencies!
Thus except for the above situations I almost have my everyday plan and more or less I quite successfully implement it! Thanks !

I do keep a "to do" list each week day (except for weekends), and try to complete them as much as I can. Some days I complete them, some days I don't. Any way, completing the things does give the satisfaction and relief for getting things done.

I tried planning my whole day once. It didn't turn out the way I expected it to be. And there are no other people involved but me, so that means I messed the whole thing up.

I do not like to make plans for the day.
plans are a good thing but when I do run I can never do it.
So if you make your plan and follow it.
I wish you success and a nice day!
