"Surfing is like love. It always feels good, no matter how many times you've done it." Had a summer blast in siargao, surigao. Finally had experience in surfing. At first, I wasn't interested in trying it but since it is one of the best sports in Siargao, we didn't miss the opportunity so we tried. On my first attempt, i was out-balanced but it was fun so I tried again and again until i stood up on the long board for 5-10seconds. And after which, a very big smile on face was captured. It is one of the best experience i had in my life. To those who haven't tried surfing, all i can say is you must try just for fun and experience. It feels good standing on the long board even just for 2-3seconds. :)

I heard a lot about Siargao, too. In fact, my friends and I had wanted to visit this place this year, but due to time constraints, we weren't able to. But this is certainly one of my must-visit spots in the country given that I love being in a white sand beach. Surfing is just a bonus!

Great to hear that! I am eyeing early 2012 if I could not squeeze in a visit this year :)

During my time in Australia I enjoyed watching some surfers having an excellent time on the waves. It looked ever so exciting to me. I know surfing is not something I could learn how to do. It seems very challenging to learn. I once had a one hour lesson on a wind surfer. Well, I was in the water for around 58 minutes and on the wind surfer for a total of 2 seconds. I am pleased to hear that you loved it in Siargao.

I want to try wind surfing too. That's so nice and exciting. I guess its a little different and more difficult than surfboarding. :)
