Not really, but I guess I could.
Think about this: We live across from a golf course. Golf balls are flying past the fences every day.
I just found another one in our front yard today. If I take the dog for a walk beside the fence, we find them there too.
I have no idea how many golf balls we've found since moving in last year, but if this keeps up, I'll be able to go into the used golf ball sales business.
We don't golf ourselves, so have no need to keep the balls.
Given that we live by the golf course, you never know if golfers would want to buy cheap balls. The greens fees aren't that cheap, but I'm sure that they'd appreciate not having to pay full price for balls.
Who knows, it's something to think about.
Well, off to walk the dog and see if I can find more balls.

Considering that I live two blocks away from the Denver golf course, and walk along it on the way to university four days a week, I have considered doing this also. I have also considered collecting a whole bunch of them and using them in a piece of artwork. I know what I am currently doing with them is wrong; I give them to the cats to play with. My wife gets upset about that; the cats like to play golf at one in the morning. Hehe.

Actually you might be onto something, and I have often wondered how Golfers can afford to keep on replacing all of their balls that they are constantly loosing let alone all the Green fees and all the other expenses. There have got to be a lot of them struggling to be able to do so. Golfing in a Fun Sport but the cost can surely make a Big dent in it.

I have heard of youngsters doing that and making a tidy bit of cash. I think you have to hope they do not go through a window.

Or, you could make art out of the golf balls. :-)
But yeah, that's pretty nifty. Go to the golf course, sell the golf balls there. You never know when golfers out there might need another golf ball, what with all the other balls they've lost from playing on that course!

You are business-minded.Over here, golf is exotic and like luxury goods,so not everyone can go golfing.I wonder if the used golf ball would sell ,if possible, how much does every one sell for?

Not a bad idea, and it reminds me of a funny thing that happened near my grandparents place not long ago.
My grandparents lived with a tennis court on one side, and a golf course on the other. The tennis balls were in their yard all the time, but they were a little far from the golf course to get balls, but another neighbour of theirs, a police officer, did.
A friend of mine and her buddies were golfing on the course, when one of them whacked a ball into the cop's yard by accident. The cop, all upset, had the ball in his hand, and informed them that they were NOT getting it back. Without missing a beat, my friend took another ball out of her bag, and handed it to him.
Cop: WTF is this for?
Lady: Because everyone knows a real prik has two balls!
No kidding. Totally true story.
