I just joined and I am not sure how all this works, do you simply reply to topics and get paid by how many you reply to or what? And, how much do you get paid for doing this? This is all new to me and I would appreciate some help. Thanks a million!

There is a nice simple formula that explains how everyone should get paid on here, but it involves a strange definition of "simple". Basically, just keep posting, either questions or responses, try not to do anything to get your posts deleted (like make fun of the pay formula) and you'll earn steadily. It seems to help to keep your posts positive and try for "Best Responses", but I can't swear that it really affects your bottom line.
You'll be better off if you approach MyLot as a way to have fun and friends, with the money being a bonus.
Right now, I'm averaging 2 cents per post, which is an ironic twist to the saying: "giving your two cents worth".
Good Luck,
The Wealthy Rat

Oh, and add LOTS of "tags", MyLot eats those up.
Just don't bother doing what I just did (responding twice or responding to your own response) because it doesn't help!

First off, welcome to this site. It's really that easy. You just post on discussions, make comments on them, or start your own. You get paid when you write things, not for what other people write. Each day it will update what you have earned. You can see that at the top of the screen. The more you participate here, the more you will be earning.

Well, your being a newbie here is all too obvious. Welcome to myLot, by the way. Generally, you get paid posting quality substance. It means it's all original and it's not crap. For your other questions, I refer you to this link--- http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx
You'll find all that you need to know right there. Happy myLotting!
