The trip i went to made me reconnect with mother nature and was able to taste its fruits! Literally. lol The parcel of land my uncle have has so many coconut trees around it!
It was so nice that i was able to went there because my i was able to taste the coconuts for free! He asked his helpers there to get us 5 coconuts! which we ate right then and there. It was sooooooooo sweet and sooooo fresh! i could live there! He was planning on building a rest house there so we could stay there on vacations and also fish! Since he will be seeding crabs and fishes there.
My hubby then said, hopefully in the future we will also be able to afford to buy a place like that and be reconnect with dear mother nature.

Very nice experience you had! I too love nature and we have parcels of agricultural land i inherited from my grandmother but we hardly visit there. We have a caretaker who takes care of the coconuts and other plants there and sometimes they would give us some.
I love nature but i'm more of a beach girl rather than a farm girl. I love water more than anything else and i would love to have a house overlooking the sea. It's something that i really dreamed of.

yeah that is why you are good at swimming right? remembered from your previous discussion that you were a swimmer that is why you love water. Well, i am not really a water person since i have fear of drowning lol.
But i love the place i went to because it is peaceful. so serene.

What a nice trip! Where is that place? I have been to Marinduque before and stayed in a place like that, but that was about 15 years ago!

I am soooo jealous! I love the green drinking coconut! I have a couple every day. You ate five coconuts between you in one sitting? Wow! You can live on those alone for the rest of your long & healthy, happy life! You'd better buy it real quick or I'll go there & beat you to it! What other plans do you two have for the place? Will you open it up to international tourists? If so, let us know & we'll beat a path to your door & reconnect with mother nature together!

Amidst the modern things we have in life, we still long to commune with nature whenever we can.
That was a nice way to bond with your husband. From the looks of your picture, you sure had a nice time.
My friends and i , will also be having an overnight experience in my friend's farm comes 29th & 30th of August, which are Holidays. I am already excited too, upon seeing the picture of your Uncle's land.

Hi!
The rural areas are really great places to go to for a vacation. I often get a taste of that whenever I go for field works. There was a time when we went to a place for the first time and the host took us to a small hut and gave us coconuts. Coconuts are really good especially if the meat is still soft.
What I also love about rural places is, or at least those places I go to for field works, I get to ride a boat and go to the sea. I just love it when we ride a boat early in the morning.

that sounds awesome! I know when I went to Hawaii I got to go to the Dole plantation and eat fresh pineapple....its the first time and only time that I really loved it. By the time it gets to us it has lost some of it flavor! So eating it fresh was amazing!

As a kid i really hated the coconut juice. I somehow couldn't get myself to drink it but now i love it. I don't drink it always, sometimes but I do love the taste now. The dry coconut itself is really tasty too hmm amazing fruit

coconuts are great! i think coconuts are great source of many products too. plus the fact that coconut juice is really tasty and sweet. but aside from that, coconut is very healthy, in fact the doctors advice drinking of fresh coconut juice to cleanse our inner body. it somehow prevents viral infections into the body. happy traveling!

Thats great. There`s nothing like living close to Mother Nature. You get rested, your mind gets rested, you get recharged and you feel fresh and healthy.Eating fresh fruit also purifies the blood and you feel energetic and full of life. I hope your hubby is able to do what he has envisaged, buy a piece of land away from urbanity, build a small house and live amidst Nature.

Oooo, now that sounds lovely indeed!!! I would love to visit this type of land. I'm very much interested in living more closer to Mother Nature and beccoming less dependent on technology (not sure about giving up internet, though, since I rely on it for research). I can imagine my hubby and I planting a nice big garden there as well. hehehe

That's a very exciting thing. I hope I can have a taste of the most fresh coconuts. The juice is great and the fruit tastes like milk. I like that. I want to have a farm that seeds coconuts too.
