Any other great Sci-Fi such as Star Wars?

The Matrix is a good story for me when talking about great Sci-Fi Films. it really amaze me that the people and things in the movie is a part or a program or some kind of a programmable software.

I wouldn't know of anything other than Star Wars saga. I think this is the best sci fi movie ever made. Although you might wanna see Family Guy's version of this. They made a spoof out of the first Star Wars movie starring the cast of Family Guy. You should watch it.
