Life is so stressful these days. There a lots of work to do..at home, at the office, with family, friends, colleagues. Some even say that many sickness/diseases have also dawned because of a stress out lifestyle. I believe it is true because i see people die of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc which probably triggered by one of the factors such as stress. When i am stressed out, I usually take time to be alone to breath, to meditate. It is my way of relaxing, re-energizing, and making myself become more mindful/conscious/aware of my body, my spirit, my life.
Meditation is a blessing!! Who among you meditates?? Share your stories.

It's good that a health awareness seminar is being offered at your work / office. I hope our office also offers that kind of seminars. =)

I gave tried meditation, and I have to say that it has certainly helped me, especially when I was under a lot of stress. I know that meditation has helped other people I know as well. It just helps me feel a lot better, after I meditate. I find that it's just a great way to relax.

I have never tried meditation. I have seen others do it and it does look very relaxing. I don't really know how to do it.

hi steph! it can be as simple as closing your eyes and listen to the sounds of the birds singing or the pitter patter of the raindrops or the waves. try it..

I have been practising meditation for over twenty years now. Every evening, after I get back home from my work, I would sit down and practise "insight medutaion" for an hour. Yes, meditation is a very good way to get relieved of the mental and physical stresses. It certainly is good for mental and physical health. It is very helpful in keeping my blood pressure under control, for one thing.
