Do you use Triond? are you happy with it?

A couple days ago I was reading some discussion here and saw a mention about Triond. Triond is a site where you can submit content and they will publish it on sites they own or control (I think). My first concern is that if I submit content to Triond then they own exclusive rights to my content. My first question to those of you that use Triond is, are you comfortable with that? Another concern has to do with where your content is published. Has Triond ever published your content on a site you would rather not see it appear on? And the all important concern, are you happy with your earnings from Triond? I had read a discussion on myLot that indicated that Triond earnings were less than when they started to use the service. Finally, is earnings from content you submit to Triond long term? Meaning that do you only earn from your content for a short time then there is no further revenue share or will Triond continue to pay revenue share for content for ever? Please share detailed thoughts and information about YOUR experiences with Triond.

I also have Triond account. Not many I get from Triond. I only have a few articles only. I'm not good at writing. At MyLot I earn more income, than in Triond.

It seems the earnings on triond is quite low and it seems you don't have control over your articles and pictures. I guess you have more control over your content and earnings on mylot than you would have at triond. But it is not a bad idea to have triond by the side especially if you upload content regularly.

I guess it is just a different kind of site with it's own kind of rules and stuff. It seems it is a bit hostile and not as friendly as say mylot.

Yes, I am on Trion and I am ladym33 on there too by the way. They do put them on specific sites but those are sites that cater to that specific subject such as cooking goes on a cooking site. It is really the best place for the articles to go. They don't really put them on any sites that I would be ashamed of or would not want my content on, they are all clean sites. Pretty much every web site that starts out over pays in when they first start out. They want to attract members, and they usually realize after a while that they can not sustain the site if they continue to pay their members that high amount of money once a lot of people join. So that is typical for any paying site to not pay as much as they do initially. I have seen it happen with nearly every site I do. Once your content is on there as long as you continue to get hits on that content you will continue to get paid for it. You get paid at Triond based on how many hits your content gets. If your content is popular you will get paid more than if it is not. It helps to network there and make friends.

Thanks much for the reply. Based on what I read here and on Spike's blog I am passing on Triond. If you wonder what sort of info I found about Triond open Spike's profile (reply before yours) and find his blog. It seems that Triond has made some really bad and unpopular changes.

I was happy when I was user of triond but last 2 years before my account is hacked. I was very happy and total 500 article post but all are lost because account is hacked. Earning is less but legit and depend upon views of article. More visitors means more earning.

Hi friend, i am not in triond, but i read a lot of draw backs of triond, most of the users told that they are earning very low from this site as well as we don't have the ability to republish our articles there, as they are requiring unique articles. Lot of revenue sharing sites like EC, wikinut, publish are paying a good money for our articles, join with them to increase your earnings

I will be curious to see what people have to say about this site. It's one of those sites that I always intend to write for, but never do. I have only written one article (a book review) for them, and then abandoned the site for others that I normally write for. Sorry I can't provide more substantive information for them. I hope that you will receive some responses from others who have written a lot with Triond. I look forward to seeing what they have to say. The one thing I will say is that I am comfortable giving over rights to what I write online, but not everyone is. I think it depends on how much time and effort you put into your writing and what you expect back in return. Good luck with your writing.

I found out about Triond here on myLot about two weeks ago and I joined it.I like the way it runs, the forum is not very helpful.I made some friends and have people that have read my articles become my fans on Triond. I did contact a few friends there that advised me to write articles about happening and places in my area and to add pictures to my articles. That's what I did.I have written 22 articles and have only earned 20 cents. My stats show that my money has gone up this month, yet my total amount has not gone up,which makes no sense. But,I am still trying,I despratly need to earn some money.

I am on triond, and I am pretty happy with it. I find that it's a good way to publish some articles, and read other articles. Granted, it does pay depending on the amount of people who viewed your articles, but I still find that it's a good way of getting some articles, stories, and such published.

My first article was published by triond on some website i have never heard of. I do not know their criteria of choosing the site. I have got a few views mainly by sharing it to friends. But as of now i have not earned anything. Maybe they pay after a month from the published date. I have not submitted another article as i have read in many discussions here that they pay less. I want to see how much they pay before submitting another article.

Sort of because the earnings there is quite slow. But, the good thing about it is you still earn even you stop publishing from the site because someone might still or still viewing the articles that you made. I haven't submitted any articles since I became a member of mylot.
