No Responses

Have you found me? My friend. I feel so sad to have no responses. I feel so sad to have so few friends. Now on the left corner, I see mylot population has reached 232,891. But a number as large as it is, I know no one really.

to be honest, i couldn't really give a crap.. just because something interests me enough to think about it, and write about it, doesn't mean it interests anyone else. i know thats a little hard to believe considering the vast amount of people here on mylot, surely SOMEONE would be interested, or have an opinion etc.. but then again some people are only in this for monetary gain and only want to respond to a discussion that they will get good responses from and could make more money.. OR only want to reply to a discussion they couldn't reply to really quickly in order to increase their financial gain.. but they dont really want to talk! :)

I read comments and responses. I enjoy reading it than responding. I would feel pretty bad if i have got no response on my discussion but not that much. It's fine. Probably, my post wasn't that attractive or interesting to read. It's a challenge the next time I write another discussion. I feel like a writer here. It's funny though. Because I have never dreamed to be a writer. But here I am now, jotting down anything that goes in my mind.

It definitely does make me feel pretty bad when I start a discussion and no one responds. I love talking to people about stuff, and when I find no one responding to what I was talking about, it kind of makes me frustrated and bad at the same time. I think it's great to respond to a discussion no one has to yet. Have a nice day. :)

I think the maney problm fashing we are every day. Every persons dosnot shera, I think always shear anther people after that maney times solved our problem.

Yes, I frequently look around discussion no responses :) I truly believe that someone will happy when others respond to his/her discussion, as I frequently started discussions in another forum and always glad to see replies :D Moreover, I like the feeling of being FIRST responder on discussions, lol xD

It does make me feel a little blue. But Then I think well I am often on at night and not many of my friends are probably even awake.. So I give it a little longer. but it could be depressing.. What you need to do is add more friends!!!

The first discussion that I started didn't get any responses. I was disappointed because I was hoping to hear other people's opinions about my topic. I think that one of problems was the question that I asked. It was a very specific question and I guess that few people were able to relate to things I wrote. Today I try to start discussions that are broader and easier to relate to and I usually get responses every time I start a discussion. I often visit the discussions with no responses. I see many discussions that I am not able to respond to. Sometimes they are guideline violations and sometimes I just don't know anything about the topic, but every once in while I find a great discussion that has disappeared in the crowd.

myLot is a complete package and getting responses is just one element. Not getting responses is not something that happens to every topic one creates. I don't think it has anything to do with 'friends' ignoring the user. It just happens that the topic may not be of interest or it could be that it has not been noticed.

I would feel embarrass at first if I don't get any response to my discussions but I guess it's okay as I guess people just have nothing to say about my discussions. But I always comment on every response that I get on my discussions so as to further the discussions. I think the title of the discussion does play an important role as it is what attracts people to the discussions. I do not take time to find topics with no response to respond to as my time on myLot is limited, but if I do bump into them, I would respond to them. I would take your advice on finding one a day to respond to, though.

Hello Flash, I will be hurt when i won't get any response on my discussion it happened with me in the starting as i did not get a single response on my discussion but i took it as a challange and thought its my fault i should always try to make discussion interesting to attract more people. But thats a right way we should always select a discussion with NO RESPONSE in a day in order to motivate fellow MYLOTTERS. I do it regularly by responding these discussion though number is not fixed in a day but i think your suggestion is good i should fix the number/day to respond.

Ya I too feel bad. But what can I do..! For My first discussion started I have got no response till now. Its about getting more referrals. I do participate in some discussion that have no response; but not frequently.

Don't be frustrated if there's no response to your discussion because not all in mylot will take a look in your topic, but don't lose hope and try to be more patient because most of the time it takes days to get hooked in your discussion.

That is a good idea. I have discussions that have had no responses and they are not that complicated or something relating to a football star or a festival that only happens in one country or something along that line. Did you ever get the feeling that uyou are the only one in the whole universe who? Well that is sometimes how I feel.

Yes sometimes it’s a frustrated situation for us when we have posted any discussion here and hope we get mostly reply for it. But after one day we see that we have not get any reply for that. So it is a really frustrated situation for a person. Because sometime peoples doesn’t take their interest when we posted really a good discussion. I had also faced this situation.

I do feel a little embarassed and frustrated when my post does not get attention from members. That has even enable me to review topic before posting. I do not post unpopular topic or something this is a little personal. This is because it is not all question that people are willing to talk about.

I try to respond to topics with no response. As I when I post something have the patience and belief, that some day people will give a comment. I think we need to have a two way communication as human beings. It is painful to be ignored and rejected over and over again. We need a confirmation that something we do and say are accepted by others. It is really hard being visible among people and nobody make you feel wanted and desired. A word from someone can make a change in someone's life.

Everyday I answer few topics with no responses, If there is no response from mylotter's on any discussion, it does not mean that no one has looked into that, I browse through many discussions and participate in those, where I think that I can add a value. There are some discussions which are technical in nature and I have nothing to say in those.

i'll feel bad too if i post a topic and no one participate on it, but i'll also take that as maybe my topic is not interesting so i'll never post the same topic again next time.... yeah i could do that, comment with it if i understand what the topic is all about.
