I have seen different types of cabled LAN local area networks which used ethernet cabling standard from UTP to thinnet and thicknet cables
I m finding that the cabled networks r fastly replaced by wireless networks
Do u think soon most networks will be wireless ?

I was reading an article recently about an American University whose students uptake in the use of wifi gadgetry, whether laptop, tablet,or web/wifi enabled phones was putting a strain on the University network..They mentioned how some of the less advanced devices were limited in the range of wifi bandwidth they could access,so they tended to hog parts of the spectrum more than the more frequency agile ones..it sure looks like things are moving towards more widespread wifi Use,if this university is any kind of an example..

Yes, I do. Here it is most common to use wifi (wireless internet connection). Almost every provider delivers their equipment with a wifi modem.
In companies however it is different, most companies have established years ago and put in the wires then. I would be costly to just let them lay there and start using wireless. I think they will keep using the wires until they are not usable and then go wireless, provided security is good.
In many malls, hotels and restaurants free wireless internet is being given away. Most people here have blackberries or mobiles with wifi function.
I think wireless is the future, however I do wonder if all these wireless radiations through our house, shops and restaurants is damaging our health?

Many will; but, not all due to security requiremetns.
There is not a wireless system that can not be intercepted and decrypted and then exploited. Hard wiring is the only way to prevent the signals being intercepted by anyone with a nearby receiver.

most but not all of them.
situation 1: our office is newly renovated. and a few months later, a new system was introduced which needed us interconnect the computers. so we have intranet. and because this is a new building, although renovated only, i did not agreed to cable the computers so we had and we have wireless now.
situation 2: the regional office of ours have to be networked with two other offices. at that building, which is a little older than we have, they applied wireless network at each office, interconnect their computers. the two other offices are located at the ground floor while the regional office is at the second floor. because the building is a little older and the structure has some thicker walls and flooring, wireless network is not possible. so they cabled the two other offices so they can connect to the regional office at the second floor.
i stated this two situations which is some kind of a very fresh experience i have. and this only proves, most networks could be wireless but not all.
