I just applied for a job two weeks ago and i grab the first company that text me. Unluckily i failed and just after that i was text by this next company and i went for the interview. I went to like 4 interviews and i failed luckily this companies account wasn't ready to give up on me and offered a free training for two weeks to like harness my communication skills. I didn't think twice when they offered the training(even if i knew that it was free all the while) and i eventually signed up for it and i'm scheduled next week for this training from twelve to eight in the evening. I'm just wondering and i would really want to know, what does it take to become a good call center agent in both customer service and tech support agent? Do you have certain work ethics you can share so i can like maybe copy so i can become a good employee? We'll any suggestion on how to become a good CSR/TSR/employee? Cause this is like my Second job and its like in one of the biggest call center companies in our town so i would like to make an impression so i could like stay for a very long time. n_n

hello, blitz..
i assume that it is an internationsl company (or handles an intl account). what type is your training? language? or more on the technical side?
since they opted to train you, your problem is probably NOT regarding your character.
since you are likely trainable, maybe it is more on your regional accent and/or your technical skill about support and marketing.
make your best on your training, then that's the time you'll make an impression.

All they said that its at&t account. I don't really know if its my accent cause its really hard to determine if you don't have someone that has the right "ear" should i say for the american accent. I'm a graduate of computer technology and i think additional training in this field would broaden my knowledge with computer(in which i would love so much). I'm not that much of a techie but i enjoy working with computers and new gadgets.

From the experience that I had in doing telemarketing when I was in college, the most important skill that an associate needs to have is good skills with people. In other words, you have to be able to talk to other people in a way that they can understand what you are saying and also that they are able to trust you to some degree. This is a skill that can be taught, but it is a better skill for a person to already have.
