Using Squidoo to promote my blog?

Hey mylotters, I recently made a lens on Squidoo for my blog, Website Wealth, to try and promote it and get more traffic. Squidoo seems like a really popular website so I figured it would help. Does this seem like a good idea, or is it pointless and just adding on more work?

Hi there. Using squidoo or all those PR 7 websites are good. It brings up the blog chance of being 'targeted' by search engines and definitely a wise choice. However, maintaining them is seriously a tough job though.

It will help your blog if you put real effort. If you work hard nothing will go in vain. So just work hard and plan wisely, your website will get traffic from squidoo. Lens are becoming very popular these days.
