Mr. Obama, it is still illegal for taxpayer money to be used to fund campaign activities. Not that you or your mindless worshippers care. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afExuSaXgiI&feature=player_embedded

Well I think it is more of a loophole every past president has done bus tours or even tours where they have flown from city to city which by the way cost a good deal more than it does for a bus tour. Everything he does is taxpayer paid for as he is the President of the United States. I mean I guess that could be the perk of it right? But is this for campaigning nope he is using it for getting his vision of the nation out there to energize people to his vision for the United States. Any president in his first term looking at a possible second term uses his first term to campaign for his second. So I mean every trip and every speech thus far has been a campaign speech for his next election. That is why I think we need to make the President an 6 year single term thing.

Somehow I think many Ron Paul fans would want him to be king... even if he wouldn't hear of it. ;~D

I think Ron Paul would have a Heart attack if they said well the people want you to be king. I mean really that would kill him. He is a constitutionalist Libertarian that would make him die. He is all about the Constitution and I don't think the United States should turn that far away from where we came. We need to have new people in leadership the 6 year thing would get rid of them using their first term to campaign for their second. I mean if they only have one term they would want to get as much as they could done.

Yup, it wouldn't be Ron Paul calling for it, but many of his fans seem to almost worship the guy.

Maybe the people in those states will demand answers and demonstrate against his policies.

I hope they do. Do you think it will be reported?

They won't get a chance. Anyone who gets near the president will have to have been proved to be one of his worshipers first. And, yes, that will be shown on the news - all the people who love him. We know the numbers are dwindling. That's why he has to work so hard at campaigning. On our money.

They ought to, Friend Bobmnu, or at least about one half of the population of the so-called battleground states, unless they have ceased to be Republicans and to the last wo/man have switched over to the Democrats. If correct, then that says something for the charisma of the incumbent President. Friend Kenzie45230, you seem to me to have lost a good estimation of the one half of the population of these so-called battleground states - probably Republicans with no love lost for President Obama. You also seem to be implying that all the members of media in his entourage will be one-sided in their reporting and biased in favor of the President. Rather a sweeping statement, I should say, but I might be wrong.

It's yet to be seen whether it will be reimbursed, but I suspect that it won't, with his track record.

Watch the video, the spokesman gets pretty upset that Obama's campaign should even be expected to. After all, he's "The President".

That entitlement attitude shown in the video is really creepy.

Ok so all in the Midwest, your President wants to listen to you about the economy and jobs. So let him know what you think. If good, smart minded Americans show up to give him "feedback" then his little campaign tour will be a flop!

But is it really a campaign tour? Or is it a tour to touch base with the American people?

Just another crooked politican who thinks law and rules for the "little poeple". Sickening. And another reason ( as if I needed one) NOT to vote for him. For a man who preached "hope" and "change" he has proved himself to be a status quo politican. Which is not a good thing.

Everything every incumbent does to boost his/her re-election or the re-election of their fellow party members is highly dubious, but drawing the line as to what constitutes campaigning has been very difficult. Obama IS abusing the incumbent position (just like everybody else), which means we are right to be upset (but not to the point of saying he is worse than anybody else as you suggest). Constant Vigil! (But be fair) Love, The Incumbent Rat

SO let's just not have crime, because someone else has done it. Completely moronic attitude.

If we use that logic than we can't hold people accountable for anything because crime happens everyday...heck murder happens all the time...so i guess we should stop holding people accountable that do it.
