suicide in the Philippines

I think we should put ourselves in their positions. what would we want other people to do if we were thinking of ending our lives? I used to be someone who would stop someone from doing that exact thing sometimes it didnt work and sometimes it did. There was this one time I stoped a 16 yr old from killing her unborn child...she told me she didn't know how to be a mother and that she didn't want to end up like her mom. so i told her i said the baby didn't ask for this...and i told her if the baby was meant to live it'll live and if it doesn't at least u wont have innocent blood on ur hands. And I told about me. something i dont normally do. and we talked. for a long time. I opened up to her and she opened up to me. That is something we have to realize. to get people to listen to us, dont just talk to them, tell them this and that. Listen to them as well. Even if they dont make sence. something that changed her mind and kinda made her see life thru a different lite. Because of that day she now has 2 beautiful children and she is an excellent mother and good friend. But I am so proud of u for wanting to know how u can help. But if it doesn't work out(like if u can't stop her/him from making the BIGGEST MISTAKE of their life) dont take it the wrong way. sometimes things are just out of our reach. we should also pray for that person. God hears us all no matter what u may think! I hope this helps a little
