any dog can be unpredictable. it is not just rottweilers. my friend has a rott named oden he is over 200 lbs and sometimes he is sweeet as pie, lets us ride around on his back but like any dog he will protect his home and family.
i have a rott, lab, collie mix who is 10 months old, he is very unpredictable. but most of thats because he is a pup. he wont really try to hurt any one but he loves to play and sometimes he gets out of control.
i have had a lot of dogs and i know alot of people with dogs, and i have seen other breeds flip their mood and attack random people then i have seen rotts, it depends on the dog, its owner and how it was raised. i cant stand when people accuse rotts and pits of being unpredictable because any dog can be, and because it isnt the breed or the dog its the owner. i know plenty of rotts and pits that would never hurt anything or any one.

I think everything depends on how the dog was bred and raised. My aunt and uncle used to have 2 rottweilers. They also have a bunch of young children. Their dogs were total sweethearts. Not a violent bone in their bodies.
