Why i am always hungry even I have just eaten something a couple of hours ago? I hate it and I worried about gaining weight. My face is getting round and chubby. How would I stop myself from eating too much? It is just too hard to control. My tummy's hurting when I don't eat. Is there any way that I can do about this?
I want to eat less but it will just make me hungry more. It is really hard to start off a diet.

I hope you are not pregnant, since pregnant women are always hungry and you are not allowed to resist eating. Well anyway with regards to your question of how to control such hunger, then I guess swallow a candy or have something sweet in your pocket. Whenever you feel hungry, a small piece of candy will do the trick.
Else, go for green salads, it is healthy plus you won't be adding bulge to your tummy. Fruits can also be a good alternative.

You have a fast metabolism. But perhaps it would be good if you see a doctor about it. Maybe you have an underlying symptom for a disease like diabetes.
But if there's nothing wrong, then control your appetite, lest it will make you fat. Perhaps you could just always drink a glass of water, so it will make you always feel full and not hungry.

I think it is pretty normal to feel hungry after not eating for a few hours. When you do eat, how much do you eat and what do you eat? If you eat a lot of junk food, then that might explain why your face is becoming chubby. I wouldn't totally avoid eating, but you might want to eat more fruits or vegetables like carrot sticks. These foods would fill you up without giving you too many calories. You might want to drink more water as well. If you are slightly dehydrated, your mind might get the message that you are hungry when in fact you are thirsty (but not so much so that you feel thirsty). Maybe instead of eating less and only eating three meals, you should eat more meals. When I was told I was diabetic a few years ago, they suggested that I eat 6 small meals throughout the day instead of eating 3 large meals. This would keep your blood sugar at a steady level and would prevent you from feeling hungry.

If you are eating too much meat or junk foods and process foods that can possibly raise your acid levels it is probable that it is the acidity that is making you starve more than normal. If you feel that there is that sour feeling in the stomach it is possibly hyper-acidity that is making you feel hungry. In case it is antacids won't be a good idea because it has side effects and will not work in the long run. If this is the case try having alkaline foods that will neutralize the acidity. What I did with mine is I take 2 tbsp of Heinz apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 10 minutes before meals. I can also help you loose weight and I am not the only one who experience it. I hope this one will work for you.

In the past, I suffered from hyperthyroidism. As a result, I seemed to be always hungry. However, instead of gaining weight, I kept losing weight because of the condition. That is just one possibility. You may want to consult a doctor. Not trying to scare you though. Another possibility is that you are still in your teens and you are still developing.

I think that it is advisable for you to speak to a nutritionist or doctor that is knows about nutritional needs to discover why you are craving foods this way. I had a similar problems many years ago and visited a good nutritionist or tested me for food sensitivity and said that craving was a certain sign that I needed to change my diet and that I was not metabolizing the foods I was craving for correctly. My problems were mostly to do with grain and particularly sugar products. Once I eliminated them from my diet for a few months, I started to feel much better and cravings disappeared so that I could eat more moderately. This is not a problem I would recommend that you ignore, but find the correct professional person to help you with. _Derek

Maybe you need to drink more water and eat foods with more fiber in them. If you eat a lot of fruits and things it will keep you full longer. You might have a faster metabolism also. In any case you should check with your doctor and make sure there is nothing wrong, and maybe he can help you.

Hi tess,
I f you want to have diet tendency is you over think about food so you easily get hungry. I hope you're eating delicious foods (more on vegetables and drink lots of water). Are you at home or got nothing to do?Then if that's the case you'll be thinking/ eating foods every hour. I hope you'll discipline yourself, do something really productive..
Happy mylotting..

Hi! It does depend on what you eat so perhaps you ought to make a list of what you're eating over the course of several days. Also, perhaps talk to your doctor and see what recommendations they have. If they send you to someone; a specialist, make sure it's covered by your insurance!
Would I be far off base in suggesting it may be a mental habit? If it is, try to eat better foods that will fill you and do your body a favor. Can you get to a Farmers Market? Does your grocery store have a good supply of fruit and other good foods? I'm not saying completely get rid of the chocolate or other sweets but do put a limit on them.
Best of luck and stay in touch!

Just eat less, but eat frequently. :) Maybe once in two/three hours and so. And you may eat some cookies, don't eat rice too frequently xD.
I once heard even that's the better way to diet. Better than not eat anything at all :).
Another way is just fill your stomach with plenty of water. I believe it would make you full in fair time xD.
Or maybe just find another things that make you busy, so you may forget your willingness to eat xD.
Good luck :)

Maybe you need to drink more water. I also agree with eating healthy. I'd have to add in that you have eat more raw foods like salads and fruit. For the most part though, you have to drink a lot of water to get nutrients around your body and for your stomach to fill up a little bit.

I agree with the others who say drinking water will help a lot. You will feel full and crave less for other foods or snacks among other benefits. Also, try eating more fruits and vegetables. the fibers on these foods will expand in your tummy and you will feel full. Sometimes, we overeat because we have too many foods available in our fridge. Try buying less snacks.

Maybe u chose the foods that wont keep you full for a
long time. What kinds of foods do u eat? U can have a heavy
breakfast and that will carry till lunch. For lunch have a big bkwl of salad, fruits
and a
protein source food. That will be enough till dinner. for dinner have a
filling hot soup, a bowl of salad and another protien source food. U can have a carbo source food like rice but be careful because rice can mae u gain weight. U can have wheat bread about 3 slices a day. Stay away from sweets. Sweets make u feel hungry again and again. It wont make u full. U can also take fruits with little sugar in them like apples. Amd drink a
lot of liquid in all forms- water, tea, coffee, juice, or even cola
but make sure its zero calorie. Liquids especiqlly water cam give u an illusion of feeling full.
