I am not a pro at cooking. I have taken to full time cooking for about 2yrs now. There are certain dishes that i excel in cooking and there are certain i have tried but have not turned out well.
When i call friends for dinner i usually cook dishes that i have done before and i am good at. I always get nervous as to how a dish would turn out which is why i always had to stick to a particular menu.
Do you try something new when you call people over for dinner or is it always your signature dishes?

I never get nervous en I decided to cook for others. I think I'm quite adventerous in term of cooking. There have been time when I decided to cook something new for my guest.
I feel that it is a good thing to experiment things when other people get to taste them. At least they will comment my dishes, whether it is good, bad or need some improvement or addition. To make the dinenr not a disaster in case the dish turn out wrong, I will prepare the regular menu I always cook and very good at.
I guess you should try to be adventerous as well. It will help you a lot in your cooking.

If I call friends for a dinner, I'll repair a menu first. I'll cook dishes which I used to cook before. I won't take a risk to cook a new disk
