What's the funniest experience you had at work?

The funniest experience I had at work happened 15 years ago. It was my third day of work in a well-known fast food chain. I was on lunch break enjoying a soft serve ice cream. I decided to walk back to my post while eating the ice cream. I was enjoying my ice cream so much that I didn't notice the sign that says "WET FLOOR". As a result, I slipped, lost my balance and ended lying flat on the floor. When I stood up, I realized that the ice cream I was eating was no longer in my hand. So I looked for it and saw it on the forehead of one customer. I felt so embarrassed but I find everything so amusing. It was like a scene a comedy movie. T

(I work in the men's department) Customer: Levi 512's where are they! Me: Hmmm I don't think we carry those but if we do they're over this way, just follow me. Customer: I've been over there! They aren't there! Where are they! Me: I don't think we carry those sir. Customer: I want a rain-check then! They are in the flyer so they better be here! Me: Well it's an international flyer, so not every store carries every single item but I'll just check the flyer to see what they look like. Customer: I want a rain-check! (I go and look through the men's section of the flyer and can't find them) Me: Sir, they're not in the flyer are you sure it wasn't a catalog? Customer: Yes I'm sure! This is rediculice! I want a manager! Me: Ok, just let me check the flyer once more, if I can't find them I'll call the manager for you. (This time I look through the entire flyer and return to the customer smiling) Me: Sir, Levi 512's are women's jeans, shall I show you to the ladies department?

Well, I am sure that things like this happen all the time, because in reality a lot of people would have no idea unless they knew these were women's jeans and would be looking for them and calling someone else for advice and information as well.

There was a picture of a woman wearing them in the flyer. It wouldn't have been near as hilarious if he hadn't been so rude about it. Yelling at me to find a manager.

Very funny. Some people really don't bother to look carefully on flyers. They see only what they want to see. As a result they end up making a fool of themselves.

Oh my goodness. I am sure you were quite embarrased and even though you hurt probably it was a little more amusing being able to see this. Was the customer mad? I have had a lot of interesting experiences. Used to have a Customer who was a Cross dresser that sometimes when he came in as the male he still had on the makeup or the hair and acted like it was no Big deal. One day he even came in with the Hair and makeup talking with the deep voice, and could not figure out why so many people were staring at him. I think he even had the High heel shoes on still. It was just too much.

Yes, I was so embarrassed and hurt at the same time. But I was more concern with the reaction of customer then. Thankfully, he found the incident quite amusing too. He just asked for a towel and told me that next time if I want to give him ice cream, i can hand it to him in right way.

Here is one experience I had at my work which I still could not forget till this day, after many years. I had never used a computer before, and on the first day at work I was given a computer and allowed to work on it. While playing around on the keyboard, the page on the monitor disappeared all together. Oh, I got so scared ! What happened ? I ran to my coleague sitting in the next room, and asked him to help. He came over , looked at my computer, and pressed the return arrow. Every showed up again on the monitor screen. Oh , that was so scary !

Here's my experience: It was Monday morning and as usual, my body is in the office, but my mind is still on weekend mode. Out of nowhere, my boss gave me a ring to ask me about some project information. I was really blurred that morning and couldn't figure out the guy on the phone. Worse off, I couldn't hear cleary what he was trying to tell or ask me. Boss: #$!@#$@!$#!$!$ Me: Hello? Who's this? Boss: @$#$%$@##@$@# Me: I can't really understand you. Are you using English? Bos: @#$@#$@%@#@$ Me: I think you might have the wrong number. And I hung up. Seconds later, I received an email from my Boss with a sentence... "you need some coffee" Thank god it wasn't "youre fired!!" Happy Mylotting!!!
