Do you find that you friends

I some cases yes. MyLot is a community of people from countries and cultures around the world working together and sharing experiences. So, in some cases, suggestions and advice based on the unique background and experience are very valuable and certainly helps very much.

I do find my online friends are great comforts and help. Maybe not more than my off line friends, but I don't have lots of friends in "real" life and sometimes I can get better advice from people less involved than my friends.

I have a few personal friends, but not too many. I think that MyLot friends, and offline friends both have their benefits. I cannot say that people on Mylot help me more with my personal problems because I don't go too much into detail with my personal information on here. I like the MyLot platform and I think that it's a good way to get a range of objective opinions about your experience if you choose to share your information on here. I think that my personal friends can give more realistic advice however because they know me better and know things about me and my life that MyLot users may not know. I definately agree with the above comments that say that MyLot users are more honest than people in real life. I know I've given my opinion on here that I may not actually tell people in real life because sometimes people cannot handle the truth in real life. Here I can give my opinion without worrying if the person is going to treat me different or take what I've said the wrong way. I'm glad that so many people are able to meet new people on here and foster strong relationships. I think MyLot can be a very supportive and friendly place for people.

For me yes it is because they gave you more response it is a part of the job here keep up the good work.

Yes, sometimes I feel so. It is good to listen to different suggestions and voices. There are many people of different kinds that expertise in different areas. I feel good to discuss with them.

Yes and not only do they help, bu7t they are more truthful than anyone in my life..I am beginning that everyone around me does nothing but lies to me in order to go on with their life.. I don't where this "lying" became so acceptable, but it is not acceptable to me..

hi catof1 yes I have found that true also.So I have time and again turned to my friends here on mylot and received so much encouragement that it was just awesome. I think that the relationship here on mylot is very different from the relationship that you have with personal friends. There is a certian amount of protection on mylot, this allows more truth between people. After all the worse that can happen is your friend turns you off of their friends list. But personal friends are people who you have a vested interest in and wish to maintain their good will. So you may not always be as straight forward with them as you cn be on mylot.

Hi Cat. I do find that my friends on my lot help me a lot more then the friends I have outside of my lot. But then again I only have a couple of people I call friends outside of my lot. I have found that the people that are not on my lot don't have much truth in them. So I mainly talk to my friends here on my lot. I know that they will at least listen and hear and will answer honestly. Thanks to all of you for being my true friend! Here's hugs to all of you.

definitely not here you can get much information. many friends who can give us very good and meaningful things. When making such a discussion I know that getting accurate and meaningful things. responses that are experienced. However, there are many posts which can give us and our friends. Hello there! yes, I consider mylot as my friend as well as some people here. Most of my friends here are helpful than my friends. I guess i have no real friends after all. :( It is here that i have a chance to share my thoughts, feelings and problems. In real life, most of my friends don't want to listen to a friends problem. Some say that they don't like stress and they have a problem of their own. Some say that you are having that problem because it is your fault. I get good words of advices and intelligent answers here. I get inspired to go on after hearing what had others have to say. Mylot is like a blessing to me touching and helping me with my life in a way.
