how to play on LAN???

can anyone help me for playing fifa on lan connection.i have 1 laptop and 1 pc.i want to play fifa on both via lan connection.i have tried many times but not able to establish connection.if anyone has played any version of fifa in such a manner please guide me....

Are you playing pc xbox 360 or ps3 that would help very much once i know that i should be able to help you figure out how to hook it up
