The first thing every day all the college and school going children look in the newspaper is every day predictions. and they believe it like blindly. it is like, look, they have said today your day will be bad and avoid fights and arguments. and i think they think it is so much that way that their day can start or end somewhat like that. do you believe it so? i do not. at times i use to see it like the other kids now in their age do, and also use to believe but i think times and situation change, so many things are changed automatically. what do you say?

Well I like reading horoscopes or predictions.. sometimes it can exactly describe my situation but Im not really depending on it..and I dont really read it everyday... just sometimes... I dont believe and fortune tellers too.. but after going to one...she clearly describe to me what will happen to me next year..I remember them all.. and yes last year not really soon but everything seems to be what she told me.. I know? impossible right... so I wanna visit her again soon :) I mean I cant see anything wrong.. if those things she will tell me will not come true..it doesnt matter... I am just really curious:P

Most of the times, i don't really believe in them. But some times i do. People usually read their horoscope in the morning and drone through the day believing that something you read will come true. If you believe in it hard enough then you may look at your day and see it from different angles and say, yea my horoscope was right. If i ever have time yes i look at it but only at night because then i can verify what really happened and if my horoscope was correct, instead of reading it and waiting for it to come true.

I don't but I don't get down on people who do. who knows? Maybe they are right! I am superstitious however. I like to stir my coffee 34 times in an anti-clockwise direction or it won't taste right to me. ;)

I used to believe in predictions of my future. I used to buy the horoscope books and I used to go get my cards read and my palm and my tea leaves. I did it all. I paid a lot of money over about 25 years of believing. Then one day I was shopping at the local mall and low and behold my aunty is reading people's tarot cards at a table set up in the mall and she is charging people $25 for it. She is no more a physic than I am and she is making good money at this. I can't believe it. I ask her, another day of course, about it and she tells me she took a course on how to do predictions and she is now licensed to do it and she does it for a living. After that I realized that it's all fake. She has no special gift or anything, just an education and a degree in it. Wow!!!

I remembered that when i was young especially during secondary and college years, i do believe in this kind of predictions. But, after seeing the predictions given in the daily newspapers are not that accurate, most of the time so i had quit believing in it. I do believe in astrology, since it is a way of reading the possibilities in the future. Especially the Hindu Astrology which is well-known as very impressive in giving details based on our birth date. Some of my friends based their marriage date according to Hindu Astrology reading.

I believe in the predictions based on the bible because most written there are happening already besides predictions that are not from the bible is considered to be a false prophets prediction. Horoscopes eh? It's not true.

I strongly agree to you. Predictions in the Bible that God and His prophets predicts are true and are really happening now and had happened already and will happen in the future

In Hindi, a word comes "Trikaldarshi", this means one who knows everything, that is only god. No one knows what should be happen in future. I do not believe in predictions. In life everyone makes so many discussion, pray to god for good ones, it might be possible that one of their thousands of discussion is make true, this is only a co-incidence.

I have a horoscope that comes up on the wall paper of my laptop every day. I read it every day. But I don't take any head to it, I find it amusing more than anything. It's funny to read that today I will find the girl of my dreams, or that today work will be stressful when I have the day off. I think that a horoscope provides the reader with some general guidelines to follow. Like you said 'avoid fights and arguments today or your day will turn out badly'. That should be common sense for everyday, not just the day the horoscope reiterates it. I don't think that as many people believe it as it seems. A lot of people read it everyday just for a laugh, I don't think many people actually strictly follow it.

I don't believe in prediction or horoscope. Because those words from people who called themselves a psychic is only guessing those things... Because you know...in horoscope. You can make it too..why? Think about a billion people around the world. It is impossible for that billion people not having a successful life. When you predict "she/he is going to be won in anything" Because you did not specifically mention the events

Hmm nope, I don't believe in horoscopes. Predictions maybe, but it has to come from a well-known geomancer. For those who don't know what a geomancer is, these people are people who help others like home buyers and those who want to start a business, in looking and studying the location's elements, mainly water, wood, fire, earth and metal. Each one of these five elements move in different way and make the flow of energy(chi) vary. Basically there's some kind of magnetic field study involved but in my country, a lot of people consult these masters when buying homes especially. Horoscopes are not accurate at all and I don't know what or who they target at. Personally, my horoscope sign in Gemini and my daily newspaper always have a horoscopes section. Sometimes I look at it sometimes I don't but most of the time, it's very very and highly inaccurate. It doesn't follow what it says at all! As for predictions, like what most of us have already known, the 2012 apocalypse thingy, well, for that, I will believe. Today there's so many disasters, floods, earthquakes and not forgetting those man-made disasters like bombings, I do believe to a certain extent that the 2012 prediction is true. There's just too many disasters happening nowadays and we can't ignore the fact that it didn't happen! So, to me, I will believe more in predictions but overall, what we do is what changes the predictions, at least, mostly. There's something called fate and I believe that we can all change that if we correct what we do

I believe in horoscope and predictions. but I don'e like believe in these blindly. If our horoscope said that you must became a doctor then it does not means that we will not doing any thing in the life.Stars help people who do work.

Yes I do somehow believe in horoscopes but the thing is I forget what's written and be on my own again. I love reading horoscopes as some of them are quite real. Well I don't know how much of it is true though. I used to read horoscopes a lot when I was a kid and always look for the horoscopes first thing newspaper reached my hands.

I do not believe in horoscopes,or any predictions that come in newspapers, magazines or on line! First of, there are soooo many people born under the same sign, and not two people have the same kind of day.As for predictions, and the "psychics",how can they have any connection with a person in cyberspace? that does not stops them from sending e-mails,predicting all kinds of good luck....if you buy the item they want to sell you.Honestly! if they really were psychics, they would know that I have no money to spare!!!.As entertainment, it is OK,but to live your life by them....no!

I don't believe in predictions and horoscopes. I believe that only God knows what will happen and we hold our own lives. We decide for ourselves and what happens in our future are only product of the decisions that we previously made. There are so many people of the same zodiac sign and I think it is impossible for all of them to have the same fortune for a single day... no man can predict the future, people say there's no harm in precaution. But I say if we believe and fear about a bad prediction or horoscope, it prevents us from taking risks and we may never know if it is worth a try.

No, I don't. I believe that man is in control of his fate. We cannot let these predictions control our lives. In the first place, no one can exactly foretell the future.

No I don't, but I guess many do.Some used it as a guide for their everyday lives, sometimes conflicting with their own ability to decide which is which to follow.I don't blame them because if you believe, sometimes you get lucky and it became a reality. In our present time I think no one can foresee or have the ability to predict our future.

I believe horoscope just when I was junior & senior high school because all my friends did.I think it's little funny when I see some prediction that out of my mind but I keep believe but now I don't believe it anymore, I try to be more realistic and have a positive thinking in every way

I don't believe in everyday horoscope on newspapers or any reading materials, but I do believe in astrology, because when I read what my traits there, almost all what been said is almost true. but I'm not against those who believe in their horoscope especially if it could help them on their daily lives to be more careful or productive.

If I believe the horoscopes, then I tend to believe that 1/12 of the world population would be have a same destiny everyday XD. No, I don't believe in horoscopes xD. And also I am not really believe in random prediction. If someone even don't know who I am, then how can he/she predicts my life? :p But if the prediction comes from people that know me, then I tend to hear them as a suggestion. Because they're not make a random predict, maybe they can see it from my daily life :)

i can so relate what the kids do first with the newspaper. i do sometimes believe in it especially when the things happening around me is similar to what the prediction says. it's funny thinking though believing horoscopes and having lots of reaction to whatever might happen on that day. :)
