What is every ones thoughts on the economy and unemplyment?

I think that there is a recession is here at the moment. It means many companies are struggling and some are have gone under. It means lots of people have been made redundant. A life on Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support can be very tough and miserable. It is a full time position looking for a job. It is heartbraking to keep getting turned down. It is scary to lose your job when you have a mortage to pay every month. I worked as a container marketing controller when I was 18 to 20 years old. I was very sad to get made redundant. I tried hard to get another job and had no luck getting a job. Luckily I had bought my cottage with cash at age 19 years old. I decided to let it out, get a working holiday visa and buy an around the world airline ticket. Off I went for just over one year. When I came home I combined temporary work with studying. Then I was off to university and I became a primary school teacher.

My opinion is that world economy is bad, most of the people think that in US they will find the happiness but the economy is bad, is difficult to get a job, the food is expensive, the salaries are not enough, what I would do, I think I would dedicate more money to the education instead of NASA, or weapons, I would give more facilities to the people in order they can have more opportunties of study to the population.
