Follow Your Heart, Or Your Mind?

I always use my heart first,except when I'm angry.Most of the times we really need our head to think,and control ourselves.When we are emotionally upset we can do irrational things.When it comes to love,I always follow my heart first, if I fail then,I'll just use my head to pick up the pieces.At least, I'm happy for once,than never to have happiness at all.There's always a risk in everything,whether you'll follow your head or heart.I would rather choose the things that can make me happy.

It depends on the situation.some situations expect you to use your head while some situations expect you to use your heart.You gotta know when to use the right thing on a certain situation.Just remember to be happy wirh your decision.If you're not happy,you didn't do the right thing.

Interesting. Why is it that you think that the mind is a power that God has given, but not the heart? Why do you not consider emotions a power? Do you consider them a weakness?

One has to really be able to know how to balance between the two. Because either can be both right and wrong depending on what situation it has to tackle. But in the end depending on how you weigh everything either of them will always prevail and the end will be to follow which one has the prevailing decision. Whichever you follow the other one will always leave a doubt. What we need to keep in mind is to choose a decision that cannot potentially hurt us. Mostly the heart is more persistent because it is more passionate. It often does not know what is wrong or right. It cannot be taught as to what can make people happy or not. And the mind counters and try to help us which one is better or not. But the decision is always to rid us from getting hurt.
