Just be careful of what you will feed yourself. Take lots of green veggies and fruits and do not underestimate the power of exercise.Avoid food enriched with sugar and high sodium like junk foods.Eat corn grits instead of rice;))

hmmm i think if someone is really eager to lose weight, first you need self discipline especially with the food that you eat... aside from eating healthy, exercise should be there also.. but you have to be patient to get the result.. but for obese people i think it is better to consult a doctor first before starting anything... last month i followed a local newspaper editor story.. he weighs more than 100kg, and they challenge him to loose weight of 50kg in 6months.. he was in strict diet and doing exercises.. in 6months he had lost 15kg.. he might have not lost 50kg but 15kg is a big thing
