A pleasant day fellow mylotters,
Well, I am a typical computer user wherein this task is kind a routinary for me. The day would not end up without me logging-in to the internet. For this reason, I am very much concern with the seating position I always do, as I have read that, some illnesses can be acquired thru seating within a long hours. In addtion, our posture is also at stake if we just sit without having aware that our back suffers.
Thus, being a computer user, we should also observed our posture and be aware of our sitting position.

The problem is due to Medical issues I have to sit most of the time, and am sitting all the time while I am at work answering phones, and helping dispatch Cabs via a computer. Sometimes it is harder to sit there without wanting to slouch etc. Especially since I have a leg that really hurts right now that they have been doing a lot of work on. I do find that the times that I am elevating it though it is easier to sit right.

posture is very important.
From time to time, try getting up to drink water.
you not leave the water'bottle beside the computer:_ walk to the kitchen
You must, at times, stretch out on the chair.
Straighten your arms, legs... and remember:
the human body was made to move.

I agree with you, sitting position while infront of the computer is necessary, as for me if I'm in front of my pc I'll try to sit with my back straight as long as I could, I avoid slouching because usually when I do that for long hours my back is aching and I start to get a headache. so as much s possible I try to sit properly when using computer.

You are quite right sheila. Sitting posture while working on the computer is very essential. I do not have the right furniture to work with my laptop and I suffered lot of body pains. When we sit at one place for a long time the blood circulation to the legs also gets affected bringing in some cramps etc. So not only the posture but also some movement of lower limbs is essential. Generally it is recommended to take as small stroll and stretch our limbs in order not to aggravate the adverse effects of working on the computer for long hours.

Yes I agree with you that we should be aware of our posture when using the computer especially for long periods of time. We must be comfortable with the way we sit so that we won't end up having backaches, stiff-necks, shoulder pains, etc. I usually felt this aches if I'm not sitting comfortably or not in proper posture. I'm more concern now with my position when using the computer as I've had already suffered several times from those body aches.

Yes sitting position is very important when using computers. Like when I was studying during my highschool days our teacher always telling that we should observe proper body posture when sitting. Based on my own research if you sit in a proper posture helps our blood to circulate properly. If you sit in the way you want without observing your body posture, you will notice that you feel dizzy because your blood doesn't circulate properly. I hope my statement helps you a lot.
