Did you ever yell or scream when you get angry? just this morning my nephew got angry with his brother, little brother got into his room and played with his toys without permission, and then maybe not intentionally but he broke it, we were just shocked that when he found out he screams and cry then ask his brother not to show his face on him the whole day... I just wonder do you also do this? or if you have kids do your kids react the same?

I guess some people have more patience than others. I used to be easily agitated or mad and can get from calm to furious for no big deal in an instant but I have grown up and have developed more patience, so right now I can say that I can control my temper most of the time, still there would be times that anger would just rush in and temper limit just breaks off. I tend to scream and throw things, but mostly just scream out if I lose my temper. The good thing with me is, I can go calm and good as fast too. Now, I have learned the value and art of anger management.

My dad used to have anger management issue. I remember how scared my me and my siblings were of my father before. He was just so cruel when he got mad, but now it's like the total opposite. He seldom gets mad and really just try to remain calm all the time. I guess age really plays a great role in temper.

yes perhaps when person gets older they can easily control their anger than when they are younger. I hope I can also do that when I get older.

Yes he love the toys it was his papa's present to him on his birthday last month, so he really is pissed when his brother broke it, even when his papa told him that he will buy the same toy again, he didn't listen and still continue crying.

I don't normally lose my temper to the extent where I'll scream and shout at people, how I am sometimes a little short when I'm not in the best of moods. I've been in a bad mood today as I attended a rugby match which was important, and unfortunately my team weren't lucky enough to come away with a win on this occasion. But now I'm just choosing to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing and not letting myself get into a state about anything because really, life's just too short to spend it arguing with people and losing your temper.

Everyone I think has lost their temper but the question is to what extent do we let our anger go uncontrolled. Many times I have lost my temper but never did yell to anyone or scream or did anything I would have regretted. I just usually isolate myself inside the room until I cool off. My temper usually doesn't last very long so as much as possible I would try not to do anything stupid.

What I've noticed is that we easily lost our temper or easily get mad with a family member than other people. I don't know why is that but it's what I've observed. It's easy for us to say things to them but not with other people. Maybe I think we are aware that our family knows us and understands us better than other people. I always regret this if I have said something that I shouldn't have said.

I lost my temper in different way sometimes I also yell if it was my brother I'm mad about, but when other people I usually keep quiet and just ignores them then I close my room and wait for my temper to go down, so that I also dont say something or do something stupid.

I do loose my temper sometimes but I know how to hold it because I don't vent it on anyone although I can't hide the expression on my face. Kids are normally like that even if a smaller brother touches their property. They just need to be taught not to do that because a brother or a sister is more important than any property lost or broken. And once they keep that in mind they will always remember and never get angry with others only for material things.

yes thats what his mama told him that his brother dont broke it intentionally and he needs to fprgive him, but he is so firm about his temper even if he is still a kid, well maybe he will learn that when he grows up.

Many times as I have this type of character similar to volcano. I can be calm long time but when I loose my patience God have mercy :) My partner knows about it and never push me to the limit when I have enough. Last time when I lost my temper it was with scam ex employer of my partner. This man does not want to pay any wages to any of his employee. I was really mad when I talk to him.

I too are sometimes like that, but usually I only lose my temper if I also lost my patience.your reason about your ex-employer is a valid reason to lost your temper, that is a bad thing to do.

That's small stuff, don't sweat it because it just small potatoes. Kids fight and they get along better. One thing, these are small issues stuff gets broken and they are just kids.

I think one can only take a certain amount of pain, failure, sadness or any other obstacle of life then it is transformed into anger which can be crying, screaming, yelling or banging or throwing things. It is all up to yourself how to deal with your agression in a acceptable manner. As a child I think yelling, screaming and crying are very common. As for myself I can discipline my anger to a certain amount when I am with people, then when I am all alone I can walk in the woods and scream out loud to release all agression out of my system.

They say that about people with bad temper, they explode easily but then after they finish expressing their anger they just cool down so fast too.

I'm a short tempered person, I did scream or yell whenever I am angry. As long as I pour out my emotion it did relaxed me. For me its normal to and it can't be denied.

I have lost temper too many times. The recent was I got angry with my niece. She is just 5 years old. I told her to turn off the light and do her homework tomorrow since it is saturday. It is already late in the evening so I told her to sleep but she didn't listen. And so, I turn off the light but she turn it on. I turn if off again and she turn it on again. I lost my temper and told her that im starting to get angry. She yelled at me and threw her ballpen. I cant believe it. She was raised like that. So brat.

I also sometimes lost my temper with my niece because sometimes they are just too pushy, but I try to control myself of not yelling to them, but if I cant control it anymore I just go to my room and just close my door.

Normal kidstuff. Growing learning process of emotional responses between kids/individuals. If their responces does not seems right, simply call their name with an exclaimation mark (!), period. Do not get too serious - even if they bleed each others nose (in uncontrolled situations)... all you know the next day they're buddies again. Sadly the adults got hurt longer (parents).

Of course I did.
When my two sons starts to fight and hurting each other physically I really go frantic and scream to them in order to stop their fight.
Sometimes I am so fed up that I leave them and they will stop when one cry which is obviously the youngest one.
Kids are cute but also a headache
have a good day

A pleasant day to you Flowerfest08,
With reference to your main topic discussion, several times that I lost temper. That, I remember, I also yell since I want to draw out my irritation. But, after screaming, I just keep quiet since I know what I did was not proper.

I have a very long patience and when i'm mad as hell i can do all sorts of monstrous things. I turn from to !
Seriously the last time that i was so mad and was such in a rage was because of my sister. What i did was kicked her boyfriend on the legs with my spiked rubber shoes and i wanted to do more than that. But people stopped me. Too bad!
I do shout and i cuss when i'm really pissed off. But that seldom happens.

Unfortunately, I have yelled when I was angry. Funny story: When my husband and I were at home, I was doing laundry and cleaning the apartment. I asked him to go get the put the laundry in the dryers. The laundry area was down the hall. He was playing Nintendo all day while I was clean. Well any way, after I asked him and he said ok. He just sat there playing the game. About 10 minutes later I went and did it myself. He asked why I did it. I started yelling at him about sitting there all day playing that damn game while I was cleaning, cooking and do laundry. The least you could've done was put the rest of the laundry in the dryer. He look at me and said; "Do you really find it necessary to yell like that?" I yelled back; "Yes,I do find it necessary to yell like that. I then decided to go in the other room. I was mift. I don't yell anymore. Of course, I'm alot older now. Best Wishes!

I yell sometimes and hurt their feelings if I have too. But it is very bad way. I couldn't help myself to get angry when I'm embarrassed or when I explain something and not letting me finish off. The kids sometimes they react on that manner especially when something is broken. They need to be guided by their parents in controlling their emotions or on what to do in case something like that happens. After all, they were just kids that needed guidance from their parents.

Kids are just kids. They are just being naive. But when I was a child, I didn't react like this, I was a little bit reserved. Nowadays I saw many kids react like that.
