How would you feel if you find out that you're a legitimate son or daughter of a king? "IF ONLY I WERE BORN A PRINCE OR A PRINCESS!" Considering how hard it is to make a big ascent from one socio-economic level to another, many sometimes just wish, as a form of an escapist dream or an expression of discontent, that they were born to a royal family, having blood relations with the reigning king or queen of a certain monarchy, indeed, for who would not want to be one? The honor, prestige, and wealth of royalty all come with "ascribed status", that which is automatically assigned by society by virtue of consanguinity, regardless of ability - hence, by one's royal blood, not necessarily by his hard work's sweat. If such a dream is too impossible, others would settle for, though also rarely probable, having ties with the royalty through marriage. Numerous fiction films have made used of this plot and have sold time and again especially as they cater to viewer who somehow fantasize of having a Cinderella-like fate. Undeniably, many, if not all, would want to have a taste of the perks that come along with being a royal. So how would you feel if you find out that you're a legitimate son or daughter of a king? Would you feel so delighted and treasure it very much?

Wow, that is what every person dreamed of, to be a rich man or woman. But maybe if i was born a Princess, it will be a headache for me since i do not like the way of their life. So stressful! I don't like a life in a limelight, where everything you do is being either praised or criticized. It's so hard when the public eye is there looking at your actions 24/7. I prefer a normal and private life, that is.

You are right my friend you can enjoy the prestige, the fame but deprived of privacy so even me i'd rather preferred to stay simple with simple way of living but there's no harm in trying to be a member of royal blood, lol. The truth is, the Bible proves that we Christian are genuine members of the family of God who is the King of king. Have a nice weekend everyone............

Hahaha this sounds a lot like the princess diaries story. ( I love that movie by the way xD ) but yes, I do wish I was actually adopted and is actually the daughter of a king of queen no matter how small the country may be. I would eagerly do my duties as a princess but still come back to my adopted parent as my appreciation to them. Lol...sadly, this is all a dream because firstly I'm not even adopted and I have the features of my parents just in case they are lying lol.

I'm not sure how i'd feel. No doubt i would appreciate the perks such as elevated social status and financial security, but at the same time I value my privacy and I'm not sure i would appreciate the potential media interest.
Furthermore, there are certain expectations made of royalty in regard to how they are supposed to act and how they are supposed to appear to the public; I'm not sure my love of heavy metal, horror movies and politically incorrect humour would go down :S

If I was born to be a princes in reality, then maybe I would be upset at first.Though every girl is fantasizing if being a princess, with all the luxuries that you can have,it must be different if it's real.As a member of the royal family, you will have big responsibilities on your shoulder. Not only that, will lost your privacy, because your every action has an impact in the society, and the media is always around watching your every move. The good thing of being a princess is that you can have a power to make a big change in the society which ordinary people can't easily do.If I have to choose,I still want to be an ordinary citizen,in which I can have full control of my life.
