What are the porpose of dringking ang getting drunk?

Some people have nothing to don`t himself just drink and getting drunk. I asking them why they need drinking so much. they told me for just fun only. I want to ask them every time they drunk they are so much noisy and irritable sometimes they sleep in the street. Its important they never hurt my neighborhood.

Well for me drinking is just for fun. I can't get drunk or can't drink a lot because I drive myself home. I would only drink more if I don't take my car with me. And if I plan to drink plenty I would choose not to bring it so I don't worry about driving home safely.
