What do you do when you can't sleep?

Sometimes it's hard for me to sleep, specially when my work schedule changes. I don't have a regular sleep pattern. I have tried drinking milk but sometimes I think it don't even affect me. How about you?

hi,
it always happen to me but i also have many ways how to sleep easily,first i will go the computer and browse until my eyes fall,sometimes i will just drink warm milk and its working to help me to sleep easily,and the last one is i will look to the electric fan while the air come to my eyes and start to dry it my eyes will gradually fall.

When I cannot sleep, I would either walk around a little and then put TV on and lay on the couch. If that does not work, I might eat a little snack and then watch TV for about an hour, then try to sleep. I do notice that eventually I do fall asleep.

Well, when in fact it is often necessary to change shifts maybe split-level that require you to work day and night becomes very difficult to be able to sleep well.
Drink milk OK, I still feel a medical opinion about it.

I listen to a music if i can't sleep at night. Sometimes I read books to initiate sleep.

When I can't sleep I usually play games on my handphone. Usually I play tetris a game in which I played from time to time. I got bored then after some time I will fall asleep. Once in a while when it doesn't work, I pick up a book and I read it. I will fall asleep eventually.

when i cant sleep i will log on to mylot until my eyes will hurt. i also try to drink anti histamine so that the side effect of being drowsy will come and so i can sleep. sometimes reading a magazine also makes me fall asleep :)

well, when i can't fall asleep, i will keep staying in the bed and begin to count sheep. it's an old method. but frankly, if my mind is clear, i won't force myself sleeping. i would like to read some books. if the book is interesting, i can pass the night before i realize it. if the book is boring, it may help fall asleep quickly.
