Do you get sick of same ringtones?

I have quite a few free ringtones on my phone and I change the sound profiles often. I get sick of the same tones on my phone over and over again. Especially for texts because I get a lot of texts each day. It is hard to find a good free ring tone for your phone though. I downloaded some that are on my phone when you go to the internet but just weren't downloaded onto my phone...if that makes any sense. I don't generally like the songs for a ring tone unless it is set as a tone for when you get a phone call. When I get a text I would rather it be a short sound rather than a song over and over. I will get sick of the song or get fed up with my phone going off all the time.
I have never bought any ring tones and don't plan on buying any. I just would rather spend the money on other things rather than a ring tone for my phone.

I like the idea of ringtones being customisable and different..being in a room with a bunch of people having phones they've apparently never changed from the maker's default tone is something that bugs Me-not least because the default tone tells you who made the phone if you're familiar with them..Also,not to mention they haven't the manners to put the things on Silent Mode while they're in company... btw..there's plenty of sites offering free ringtones out there, and you can record your own if the phone has that capability..I like the idea of being able to assign a tone to your family members or important numbers so you can readily ID them..

I get annoyed with ringtones espically for messages. My phone comes with several and I have the ability to crop songs into tones from my computer if I want to. Which is cheeper then trying to find tones I like. But, it's also time consuming as well thus why I don't really do it as often. Quite often, since message notification sounds do get rather annoying at best, I have it set to vibrate instead so that it doesn't annoy the hell out of me, or disturb my partner when he's trying to watch t.v. or sleeping. I got tired of that happening real fast.
When it comes to phone calls. I use songs I've loaded on my SD card for that. Ringtones aren't cheep and finding free ones aren't worth the time or effort in my opinion. I have certain tones for certain people and a general tone for everyone else. I also have my phone read out the phone number before the tone sounds because if it's someone I don't know, I can ignore them much faster and quicker. And likewise for someone I know and want/need to talk to.
Every so often I have to do a master reset on my phone. When I do, that's when I change the ringtones but usually not before. There is no reason to in my opinion. I don't get that many phone calls. I get calls from two numbers at best. So it's not like I'd have a reason to get bored quickly.

I get a lot more text messages than phone calls. So I don't get sick of that tone but I do for my text messages. So I tend to change that tone a lot more often. I usually find a short tone for the text messages. I usually just use the free ones that come on my phone or are free to downloaded already programmed on my phone.

I actually don't get sick of them. I am used to them as a matter of fact. I won't bother changing them either, as long as the phone rings and I have the signal that someone sent a message or someone is calling is enough for me. What matters most is the reason of the call or the content of the message. The ringtone is just a signal, so i'm fine with mine. :)

I understand. I just get sick of the same sounds over and over and over. Especially for when I get text messages. I like it to be short sound for text messages for this reason. I will choose longer and bigger sounds for my phone ringing, or instant messaging, or Facebook. I have to admit I did find two sounds that I really love for my phone ringing and for Facebook. I will probably keep those sounds on for a really long time.

I see. well if you want good ringtones you should make your own, you can download a ringtone maker online or if you have a smart phone then you can download the app for it. i like to make my own ringtones they are better then the songs they have out. and you can make just one sound to for you text. i like just one sound as well for my text. i get tired of the same song or sound all the time so your not alone. here is a place were you can get the ring tone maker. www.softpedia . com home this helps

Yes, that is why I have different ringtones on my cell phone so that I don't have to hear the same one all of the time.

I do get sick of the same ringtone after about a month or so. I have about four free downloads a month so that is pretty much what I do if I get bored. Or I just put some favourite songs in the phone via usb and change it.
But you know what i hate the most? when people have the same ringtone as mine. Once i was in the bus and someone's phone rang. the ringtone was the same song as mine so I took out my phone but yea it wasn't mine :/ LOL
