How can a poor college kid make extra money? I only have a few hours of free time and no transportation.

Yes, if you enjoy writing, articles, short stories, and so on, there are a number of sites on the internet where you can earn some money. Writing has been my hobby since my college days too. One site I am enjoying these days is "Review Stream". You cab write brief reviews there on a variety of topics, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, shopping, movies, restaurants, travel, etc., and get paid once the review submitted is approved.

I'm a college student as well, and I make most of my money here and on Triond, though I haven't been all that active lately. I don't know if you know what Triond is, so I'll give you a quick explanation. You write articles and when you get views for those articles you get money. The earning doesn't go all that quick, but every bit helps! When you write for Triond, you can just do it whenever you have some extra time, you don't even need a computer. You can write and then publish the article later. I, for example, sometimes write on the train.
