Hi Blue,
I saw that movie too and loved it! I watched it with my daughter and she picked on me for getting all choked up but the tears welling up in her own eyes didn't escape my attention. Really cool movie. Have you seen "I am Sam"? If not...you should.

Oh I hope you do. I guarantee that you will be thanking me for pushing you to watch it. My boss who says he does not have time for movies, finally watched it and said , "OMG...Sid, I laughed and cried...it was such an incredible movie!" It is and it is way more moving than Marley & me which is very moving. Sean Penn plays a retarded man who tries to be a good single dad to his daughter who is very smart. He does an amazing job!! The system tries to take his daughter away from him because of his mental condition. This is one of the very few "must see" movies that I reccomend to people. The other one would be "The NOTEBOOK". On A scale of 1-10, I'd rate, "Marley and me" a 6 and " the notebook" a 6 as well and I'd rate this a 10++++. Watch it and I'll bet you'll PM me and agree.

Hi there Blue65packer!
I have seen part of the movie but I have been avoiding some parts of it because a professor has told me about it and I know I will cry gallons if I watch the full movie and I am not in the mood for crying right now. I did buy the Marley and Me book and I'm still waiting for my sister to finish reading it so that I can read it first before watching the full movie.

What an amazing movie, heart warming and sad.
I love the way it shows us how our animlas become a part of our lives and a part of our family essentially. My pets are like my family and losing them is very sad.
It shows that animals don't care about what you earn or what you look like, they just want to be loved and they will love you in return. I can't imagine my life without any pets, they are like my children and I love them.
Movie made me cry a lot and I must say my boyfriend is even a big fan of it!
Glad you finally got to see it and enjoyed it, way worth it!

Yes animals become like members of the family! They become like children! I personal don't own pets because where I live I can't have any. I do know friends and family who have cats and dogs as pets. Their pets are family, too! I know when they lose one it is not easy!
Marely was not perfect by any means but his family loved him anyway! That was one of the things I loved about the movie!
