I sometimes regret of my profession, it's my mom's choice. But in the end I thank GOD for I am so bless to be a licensed nurse. On the other hand I feel so depress for nursing profession is not in demand now..I hope and pray that someday there is a better place for me.. *sigh*

Yeah, nurses in the Philippines are not in demand for now. I am also a nurse, but I realized I dont want to be a nurse and instead I did what I always wanted to do instead. If you were given a choice, what should you have taken? Do you think it's worth the wait? Waiting for nurses to be in demand that is.

It think you can take law now, even if you wont take polsci. I had many teachers in college who were law graduates. They took up law after nursing, and could still use both.. Maybe you could ask you mom to send you to school again so that you can take up law?.. hihi..

The course i have taken is my father's choice. I took it because it's what he wants for me. I regretted having followed him before.
But now, i have accepted that it's the best for me, since because of it , i was able to have my jobs before and as of today. I realized that it's a course most needed in companies.

I was confused and I did not know which course to take. My first option was architecture and then second was civil engineer and the third was electrical engineer. It was what i filled up in my form before interview but during the selection( interview) slots for architecture was full but there were slots for civil and electrical as they were my second and third option but just before interview I changed my mind and applied for Computer Science and Engg and I got it. I am now in final year and I don't regret having chosen this course. Though it is tough course it is very rewarding course as it gives very good job with highest salary.

I see. You are still in college ey?. I hope you would do well in your last year and when you have a job. For me, I also loved the learning process into becoming a nurse when I was in college but it was only when I worked as a real nurse that I've realized that I dont want to become a nurse ever. And I hated it. I hope you wont have the same experience with me.

Yea I am still in the college and life seems to be cool as of now. We always love being students. People say that when they are in job they really miss students life.
I think nurse is a good job. What is so wrong in being a nurse? Would you mind to share what is the problem with the job?

I envy you. I wanted to be a business women and actually am now a business woman. But when I was in college I took up nursing, which was very far from business. I loved learning nursing but I didn't want to be a nurse. Now Im planning to study again, but with the right course. I just dont know if my parents would allow.

I took this course not because of my parents...just because I don't know what I like and as for that time, I do not want to study in university but my family forced me to. I'm not really like this course honestly speaking.

I don't know it is great or not...actually I was hesitate to take music course but my mother do not want me to as in the tradition of Chinese, old generation think that music couldn't help much in earning in future. So I ended up with taking a course that I'm still not sure whether I can see my bright future; I'm taking industrial design course.

I did not regret taking my course but I can't really say that I love it. The reason why I took the course is because it is one of the course on the top of the list. Yes, it is like I choose that course with no particular reason at all. I want to initially take a biology course so I can become a doctor. I already passed one of the best and prestige university in our country. However due to financial problems, I wasn't able to take the course. Though I initially don't care about my course, I persevere to finished it and graduated with flying colors. Thanks to my ever supportive mom and of course, thanks to God.

Whoah! really? That's great. I heard that accountancy is a really hard course to take. I bet you are really smart. And you have a lot of money now because of that. Accountants do have big incomes, atleast that's what I heard. Am I right?.. Good for you. Thanks for the response.

I took it maybe because I just happened to be somewhat bombed during the entrance exams. I never really wanted the course I took I just happened to be pushed by the situation. Still, I came to love what I am studying since I'ts no use regretting it. But after I graduate and find a job, I'm surely going to take a whole new course. One that I would really love to take.

I had the same feeling. I loved my course while studying it but when I actually worked the job, I hated it and I was always absent because I hated the job too much. What was the course and what should you have taken? Me, I took nursing but I really wanted entrepreneurship because I love doing business. Now, I wanted to take entrep but I just dont know if my parents would allow me.

Wondering why is this topic in love forum but very true that most of us dont choose the subject we can do well with..Parents pressure ,society pressure and there is a big pressure to choose the subject that can provide us a good job.We neglect what we really want to study .Carrier and need of job dominates on every hobbies of us.

Oh! Im sorry, I think I was making this topic while making another topic about love. I should have exchanged them.
Yeah, that's right. Sometimes we really need to be pressured to study just for us to study. What course did you take in college? was it out of pressure?
