I just recently watched a horror anime. I'm not really into horror anime. I really prefer romance, action or comedy. However I came across with this anime named SHIKI, which has an interesting story and plot. I can say that is one of the best horror anime. Are you into horror or scary anime?

Another suspense anime is Supernatural. It is based from the American tv series with the same title. I like the tv series version but I just watched 2 episodes of the anime adaptation. It is quite good but the drawing is not that attractive.

Hi chiwasaki!
I'm not much into scary animes, too but I like suspense, thriller, horror Japanese dramas and movies. If vampire animes are considered horror, then I guess I have watched a few horror animes. I've watched Blood the Last Vampire before, and then there's Claymore. Also, there's this anime, another vampire one, but I can't remember the title, I think it was Kuroshitsuji. I'm not sure. I think I have also watched Jigouku Shoujo.

Really? Do you know if there's another season for Claymore? Because I think the ending was a bit hanging. Claire did not really defeat.. who was that again? Stella? I don't like Vampire Knight.

Hi secretbear! Those anime you mentioned I guess are under horror category or those that are a bit scary. Probably the right term is supernatural or suspense. Claymore is one of my favorite anime. Vampire Knight is about vampires but not scary at all.

I haven't watched SHIKI yet but I think I shall give it a try soon.
Horror theme is not my favorite either but I've watched a few. The scariest I've watched is probably Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's an anime based on a visual novel game. There are 2 seasons to it and the 1st season presents all the mysteries (which was bloody and quite mind-boggling) and the 2nd season presents the solutions to all the mysteries.
I don't mind watching horror so long as the plot is good. Personally, I prefer action, comedy or sports.

I don't like horror/scary anything. They haunt me for weeks if I watch them. But yeah I do sometimes feel like reading horror mangas, i don't know why! And then I do but yes mangas are not as scary as animes or movies so i find it better

I don't like horror movies, it also haunts me for weeks. But it is quite okay if it is horror manga or horror anime. The animation is not that realistic unlike the movies.

hmmm.. when i come to think of it, i've actually never had watch any anime that is scary/horror... but not that i don't like it. i don't know why i haven't. funny that is. well, i've seen the live action of hell girl and it wasn't that horror to me but i like it. i guess i would like to watch that kind of anime genre too.

Hell girl is a good horror anime. Though it is not that scary but it somehow related to the horror genre. I'm not into horror or scary anime but the last anime I've watched is really good.

It its animation then I prefer to watch comedy and scy fi animation..rather than watching a horror animation. That world takes me to virtual world where almost everything is possible.I love to watch horror and sci fi movies in 3D but haven't yet watched as no theater in my city has 3D arrangements yet.

Probably what you are referring to would be the animation but not anime. I like comedy ones specially ice age. I also like Wall E which is one of my favorite and happy feet.
