Would a collection of articles turned into an E-book be a good idea?

I was thinking of grouping a few of my Helium articles and turning it into an E-book. Would this be a waste of time, or a potentially money-making idea? What kind of promotion would it take and how much work would it take to actually make the ebook as opposed to having a service like Lulu do it for you?

I think if you can do this for a low investment and make money you should go for it. Couldn't u have it less expensive in the beginning and as sales pick up increase the price?
