Ovarian Cyst History - Safe Birth Control

Last year 2010, while I am 3 months pregnant I got operated because of my bilateral ovarian cyst which grows very fast. Unfortunately I only had my right ovary left now because my left ovary was damaged and they need to cut it off while my right ovary they only removed the dermoid cyst. Fortunately I successfully gave birth and now my child is already 9 months and it's been 1 year and 2 months since I had my operation. My question is, what birth control can you advise for me to use. As what I have heard pills can trigger cyst and cancer also... I don't know if this is true. Please advise me if you have any suggestions. I will be going to my OB maybe this month.

Contraceptives are NOT good at all. It has side effects and I advice you to have natural birth control (abstinence). Which I think very hard for you, esp for your husband! hahaha. You can use calendar method.. the best thing to do is to talk to your OB.. Happy mylotting ate sam.. Welcome here in mylot.. mwah!
