Google Plus is a threat to Facebook?

Google has started its own Social networking site. It is called Google Plus. It is very similar to facebook. But will it be able to dethrone Facebook from the position of best Social Networking site?

Well that depends on what the new site has to offer. After all who knew facebook would end up being bigger than myspace. I have a myspace, I don't go there anymore, I am always on facebook. And I don't twitter because I am not interested in that site.

I suppose that it is possible, after all anything is possible. On the other hand, most everybody is on Facebook now days, and I doubt that with the time it takes they would want an account in both places. The growth would have to be outrageous for it to out do Facebook.
