That people admit you have something to say, you have knowledge, you know how to do something or, eventually, you have something to offer. That mean you need a website with a paid domain and some scripts to allow people to register to receive your newsletter in their email address. You also need an autoresponder account from where to deal the newsletter content and frequency. Also you need to HAVE MADE those newsletter and be intersting enough so people regitred to receive should not cancel it ... Those people receiving your newsletter are "in your list". Thru that letter you can promote them - from time to time - some paid products or services they register to receive news about, or related to. A list under 1000 is just to play with .. Pay attention.
