I am not sure whether you will consider this old folk treatment to stiff neck but per my own experience, not only once but for several times, I found it to be very effective. Before getting out from your bed, get as much saliva as you can (of course, your own saliva) then massage it gently to the affected area. Thoroughly wet with your saliva the affected area of your neck then follow it up with any liniment to discard the foul odor of your saliva. You may laugh on this quack doctor's prescription but you would not loss anything if you will just try.Free of charge than seeing a medical doctor;). Just let us know here, if it is effective at your end.

Yes I did experience having stiff neck before and it's so painful. I usually move it slowly once in a while until I feel the pain. I just leave it as it is and it will eventual back to normal and the pain will be gone in a day or two.

Yes I do and it really hurts. You can lessen the pain with hot compress using a towel. It will give you some relief then after the hot compress, apply some mint cream or solution and massage gently. Hope it will work for you jaiho®
