Lithium and nursing

I have a dear friend of mine and she wants to know if lithium and nursing is feasible. The doctor has told her yes, but when she goes online (it always scares her) it tell her something differnt and soooo many different things about it. What do you know about this topic and for that matter any thing like lithium like lexapro or zantac. I know in the past that antihistamines are bad for the baby in the first three months, but by the time you find out you are pregnant it's too late.
