Why do bad things happen to good people?

Expert abilities require expert challenges. Their problems may not seem as bad to them as you see them. Challenges that happen in our lives not only change us, they change those around us.

Why do good think happen to bad people? Because your God is a jokster. He thinks you folks will need this experience to make you strong. Humor is good medicine also. God feels that each person should experience good with the bad to make them well rounded. If you didn't know strife you don't know the true feeling of happiness.

being good doesnt shield you from getting bad things and instead more trials of life like bad things do happen more...its life..fight and fight as long as u can to survive...its all in a matter personal outlook...bad things can be looked as a good thing act on it like there is a goodness why it happen...and life will be happy

I think when bad things happen to good people,because they repayed formerly bad things they had do. I always think there is no absolute good people or absolute bad people.

Because it's need to a good people to measure their goodness. how long they will be good. That's called a trials in life.. That bad things happened to a good people to make them realize and do better for continuing the journey of life..

Everything's happen for a certain reason. It is not necessarily mean that when something bad happen to a person, God punished him/her. In my own opinion, we are just human being and whether you are bad you are still deserve for good things in your life. maybe God wanted that bad person to realized that even though he is bad, he still deserve a good thing in his life. It is the way of God to let that bad person realize that he must change since God loves him in spite of his imperfections. God is so intelligent right?;-)

Life just isn't fair. Actually when you think about it, if good things always happened to good people, would they really stay good for long? The higher you have the potential to rise, the higher that something like that is going to really ruin the best of people. Still just because of a person is good, that does not stop them from being hurt by circumstances beyond their control or even making a misstep that would be considered to be bad. Just like bad people can have moment's of decency and that might have good things. Still that brings me back to my original point. Life just isn't fair. Perhaps we might be skewed of what is good or what is bad. Perhaps no one is truly good or no one is truly bad. Or perhaps we might have really had it right, its just the opposite of what should happen happens, to really keep us humble. If good things only happened to good people and bad things only happened to bad people, then that leads to an entirely different mess of problems. Good people might become too smug and bad people might become worse out of frustration. At least that's how I see things.

Sometime the good people are naive and believe in the bad people, which make them get into bad situations. In general I think good and bad things happen to everyone. We have to experience some bad to appreciate what is good.

I don't believe bad things happen to only good people and vice versa. I think they happen to everyone regrdless of how good or bad they are! It is just the way of life teaching us new stuffs I guess.

I think because good people are kind and they dont manipulate any situation..while on the other side bad people do everything to get there things done.Good people are the sufferer mostly because they are taught to think differently than that of bad.So basically I want to say being good is itself a reason because of that bad things happen with them. For example in public places like bank we follow the rules and wait in long queues but few dominant people come and they dont care what people in the queues are standing for..they just go counter and get there job done.(its just an example it may vary, at some places rules are very strict for everyone) I sum up with 'being good is bad thing nowadays' and being 'bad is good quality nowadays' ;)
